How does Itachi have better suited jutsu? Ninja Hounds, clones, Raikiri clones, Headhunter Jutsum as well as water Jutsu. Kakashi is likely able to find Itachi first.

Because of Susano'o and its quick activation. there's not much that could harm him against a real Kakashi instead of Kamui, he pretty much reacted to Kirin and the defense is amazing on Susano'o, especially with that sword swinging everywhere

How is he going to defend against something he doesn't know is going to happen? Or even see Kakashi in the forest. Kakashi could evade easily in the cover of the woods until the right time.

Itachi isn't careless, he considers his moves with thought, it'd be easier said than done to ambush/surprise Itachi since he knows he's facing somebody as well. He's not stupid himself, his battle prowess and skills should be at least somewhere near Kakashi's, how would he catch Itachi off guard? Despite how much skill and experience Kakashi has

I don't get why Chiyo is so high, and like 60 places higher than Sasori who I would say is a superior puppet wielder than her. I'm assuming they actually fight after one finds another, and with a day of prep, even if Sasori doesn't locate the opponent first, he's not going down so easily to be ranked below 50.

We're on page 6 and I'm the first to mention Kabuto? Is there an opponent in the manga right now who is any further away from opponents he's fighting?

Nagato has shinra tensei, and he's a sensor type, and the paths are animated by a long range jutsu.

And kabuto raised Nagato. and Madara

Not sure why Minato is on the list at all when he has no long range abilities whatsoever...Ditto for A.

The battles aren't exactly long-range attacks exclusively - they just start at a great distance in a forest to strategize/prepare/etc. I'd like it better as a KC thing thn an actual battle as it's hard to generalize characters on a specific scenario when they rarely use this approach in the manga, and thus have less jutsu feats to work off of, but whatever.

Right, these are extreme long range. 90% of this is find the opponent and attacking before they can. That gives Minato a large advantage as he can warp around looking.

Its a two part thing, one is finding them and the other is using distance to your advantage.

Sure the hyuuga could see from a distance, but they can't do anything until they get close enough. By then, the opponent may have found them.

Minato has the benefit of warping, allowing him a quick and stealthy way of entering the fight before the opponents realize it.

Just to note, theres no kankuro on that list. With his magic he worked during the ambush squad fight, I don't find it too hard to believe he can manage to fight off some people.

Especially with how crow has a camera in his head (show during the chunin exams arc) that kankuro has some form of contact to, allowing him to gain the answers from it. Thus he can send crow out to scout, and also disguise himself like he has many times before. Theres also Sasori puppet, and him having two black ants now. If an opponent can't spot him and kill the real him fast enough, its almost a sure-kill for him.
