Shikamaru vs Yugi Muto

They start with 4000 life points
Shikamaru gets two hours to read the rules and make a deck
Scenario 1: Yugi battle without the Pharaoh and Egyption God Cards
Scenario 2: Yugi gets the Pharaoh but not the Egtpion God Cards
Scenario 3: Yugi gets the Pharaoh and the three Egyptian God cards Shikamaru can have 3 forbidden cards

Scenario 1: Yugi's deck is crazy outdated. Shikamaru netdecks an incredibly cheap Xyz deck that requires no skill whatsoever to use and TKOs Yugi in like one turn.

S2&3: Yami has the ability to alter destiny, he always draws the cards he wants. In this scenario, he summons all three Gods and annihilates the overrated little twit.

In scenario 1: Shikamaru would pick a deck with a lot of traps and a few good monsters and probably beat Yugi.

Scenario 2 and 3: With access to the Pharaoh, Yugi schools Shikamaru thanks to his infinite knowledge of Duel Monsters and deck that has gotten him through countless duels, many of which had decks that were stronger than his in theory, as well as the Egyptian God cards making this a complete stomp.

1.Seeing as he beat Atem and was owning Jaden,he should be okay but maybe not.
2 and 3.MIND CRUSH.

Pretty sure Yugi has Heart of the Cards too.

Yugi can't lose. No matter what. I don't care if shikamaru actually did have a brain, he can't do anything to Yugi. Yugi could have a deck filled with Skull Servant. He'd find a way to win.

Yugi has a tendency to just ignore the rules. SHikamaru would follow them. Yugi wins.

Yugi can't change rules and there is a way to make a good deck with Skull Servent

Yugi doesn't need to change the rules, he ignores them. And I believe he meant a deck filled with nothing BUT Skull Servant and no other card.

he can't ignore the rules in this match and you're only allowed 3 of any card execpt for limited semi-limited and forbidden cards

I know, I was saying if he did make one with nothing but.
And yes, I meant normal monster with just 200 ATK and some DEF.

no but Shikamaru has access to all cards and I'm now giving Shikamaru 3 forbidden cards in S3

How many traps can he get? Also what kinds are they?

Knowing Shikamaru I'd say depending on that would make a difference especially against God Cards.

Hmmm.... Idk in terms of intellect Shika may have a fighting chance.

But Yugi could just use the heart of the cards.

Scenario 1. Shika wins (Maybe)

Scenario 2. Yugi/Yami take it

Scenario 3. Yugi/Yami take it

Shikamaru can have up to 60 cards in his deck and 15 fusion/sychro/xyz monsters

Yugioh stomps in every scenario. Shikamaru gets hour to read the rules and build a deck to face the best duelist there is. Giving Yugi anything in any scenario is overkill.

40 cards is the lower limit. 60 is the upper limit. There's no rule that says you absolutely have to have only 40 cards.
