Lack of consistent updates.

Overall I find this website to be very nice. The forum in particular is quite pleasant and I have no major gripes about it.

However I was just poking around the other sections of the website, the News and Story sections in particular and noticed quite a bit of obviously outdated content on it.

On the News page there is a section with release dates for the american air dates for the anime on Disney XD, but they are for May of 2010. I find it hard to believe that nobody in charge of updating the website has caught that for over a year.

On the Story page I realize that there is a need to avoid spoilers by not revealing to much information, however if you click on the sections about the other ninja nations they come up with boxes that contain almost no information at all.

I realize that when the site was created the story hadn't introduced any noteworthy information about them, but that has changed and there is quite a bit that has been revealed about them over time. If any new fans just jumped in on the current manga chapters or anime episodes they would have a great deal of trouble trying to find out anything relevant about the cast or past events without having to resort to reviewing all 500+ chapters/episodes of the manga/anime.

Surely there must be some compromise between avoiding spoilers and having empty description boxes.

Ahh, well first off the forum isn't lively like it used to be. So many if not most could be considered on a life line.

As for the story page, where is this so I know how to respond. I kinda get the sense you are saying there are a lot of threads with spoilers,but the text is not revealing anything. xD

I can understand fading popularity being a factor, but not updating the episode listings on the news page for over a year? That just cries out neglect.

As for the Story section I was talking about, up at the top banner of the site right below the ad banner is a set of links to different parts of this website. Under the Story category you get links to episodes, character bios, and a world map.

The character bios are pretty much just a basic listing of the cast as of the start of Shippuden, which I can understand since much more would be spoilers.

The world map though seems to be an unfinished feature from when the site was created that was just forgotten about.

If it's a big deal to you, just apply for a job that way you get paid to see and post the updates.
