Amaterasu; Overrated or Underrated?

Would you call Amaterasu overrated or underrated?

When i would call it overrated: When people can say "ammy GG" just when the user has it, it never really goes that easily in fights at all, and usually has much more planning involved (kinda the same with Kamui)

When i would call it underrated: When people say "amaterasu would do nothing in this battle, it couldn't try karin!" Amaterasu actually can be very deadly, it just has a bad history of using it on the wrong people (mostly for plot purposes) and we can see how is wipes out boss summons and even bijuu

Your thoughts?
