It seems Rukia is now a lieutenant, based on her badge. Not sure if I like her haircut or not.

I'm also interested to know why Ichigo has the X shaped straps on his neck and arms now.

I'm still wondering what went on when Isshin stabbed Kisuke a couple of chapters ago. And if it was actually Rukia who was doing something with them. Maybe Isshin gave up his powers so ichigo could have them?

No its basically like the first time when Ichigo got his powers. However, it might be different.

I guess he looks different bc since Rukia was the one who stabbed him. Well she must be much stronger now than the last time she stabbed him. The first time she was just an average ranked Shinigami but now she is a Vice-Captain/Lieutenant. He just absorbed the Rietsu of an stronger Shinigami this time(though the same person).

Now Ichigo is Vice-Captain level this time and back then when he first got his Shinigami powers he was a novice.

Dude Ichigo is a beast I love where this has been going. I can't predict what's gonna happen even from page to page. All I know is that Ichigo is gonna kick some serious ass now.

I wonder if Ichigo's Zanpakuto won't be Zangetsu anymore. I also wonder what's going to happen to Ginjo and Tsukishima now. With Isshin, Urahara, and Rukia here, it's 4-2 for able-bodied fighters. Although there are five Fullbringers and an Orihime the next floor down, so it's really more like 4-8, so actually Ichigo's side is the ones outnumbered by 2-1.

So I'm guessing they'll run. Tsukishima's the only one who can use Book of the End and turn everyone else back to normal anyways, unless Urahara has a solution for that. Plus, with everyone fighting at such a high level, the normal people on the bottom floor are at risk. If I were them, I would retreat and plan a counter-attack, unless Urahara's already got a plan in mind.

Ichigo's newly returned Soul Reaper powers are awesome IMO
His Zanpakuto looks different from before and he's wearing something more Fullbring-ish underneath his Kimono.

New development, old way to get powers, completely different arc.

NOW it's getting good. Ichigo got his reaper powers back from Rukia, but his zanpaktou is different than before. I don't think it's so much a different zanpaktou spirit, but a different level of power. He's going to be even with Ginjo and Tsukishima, but we still haven't really figured out if Fullbrings are stronger than Soul Reapers.

The fact that Rukia came back is pretty awesome. She appeared in the beginning and with her appearance, proved that Ichigo's dad and Uruhara are both still on Ichigo's side.

Arc just got cooler. I'm sorry, but I like it like this.

wow people here are hating this chapter ? the character growth for ichigo was awesome and technically Urahara and isshin didn't help or save the day and of course there not evil there to epic to be evil and we finally see rukia

This was a good chapter. Uryu's recollection of Ginjo's attack showed us more of how Ginjo and Tsukishima function as partners, and gives us a better time frame as to when Ginjo was first cut. It also shows more of Ginjo's real personality, something that gets continued on when Tsukishima and Ginjo continue on to explain how it all happened. I was more or less fascinated by the way Ginjo took Ichigo's powers, since it brings back the fantasy element of Bleach that was more common in the Arrancar Arc. Tsukishima and Ginjo's squabble shows me that they have the potential of keeping themselves the running villains for a long time, because Bleach hasn't encountered a main villain who was on equal standing with another main villain. Tsukishima was right, too - Ginjo called Ichigo "Kurosaki" just moments after the blade struck him. Way to keep up the act. It's clear Tsukishima looks down on Ginjo, and if Ginjo weren't so arrogant and willing to give his opponents a chance for the sake of challenge, Tsukishima would be wrong. But he isn't.

Ichigo's despair was certainly sad. He only completed his Fullbring that very day, after all. As a matter of fact, it's still the same day Tsukishima attacked Xcution's headquarters and Ginjo fought Tsukishima. He's hardly gotten around to naming his Fullbring when he lost it just a few hours later. Isshin and Urahara did come to the rescue, as predicted, but it was still good to see that they weren't up to anything nefarious after all. Rukia giving Ichigo her powers again gave a sort of nostalgic feeling about the beginning of Bleach, and how this is Bleach: Part 2 and Ichigo's got a whole new road ahead of him. (Side note: Kinda liked Rukia's new look after the timeskip, finally a Lieutenant since she should've already been one.) Ichigo's look at the end also brings back the familiar sense from chapters such as "Deicide 18 [The End]" and "The Rising", because Ichigo just got new powers and you know he's going to kick some major ass.

It was an enjoyable read. Just because it ended up repeating the events of the first chapter (Except this time Rukia hadn't been bitten by a Hollow and Ichigo didn't know his dad was a Soul Reaper or that Urahara existed at the time) doesn't mean you have to count out every other good thing about it.

I'm personally hoping for a retreat and a Soul Society-based operation to remove Tsukishima's power and stop the Fullbring duo, because I don't want Tsukishima or Ginjo to be taken out this early and I'm interested in seeing how Ichigo re-learns his Bankai. As for the X on Ichigo, I'm guessing it's a theme. Xcution and Ginjo's X-shaped necklace, along with the X on the Substitute Badge and now the X on Ichigo's Soul Reaper clothes.

If Ichigo doesn't kill them next chapter, they are.

Even with comrades their plan of action is still gonna be fight Ginjo while avoiding getting hit by Tsukishima unless Urahara and Isshin have some big plan to make things easier.
