No matter what actually happened the sickening part is that she covered up her daughter's death. People can't imagine why an innocent woman would go to such lengths and tell so many stories that continually changed, in order to cover up her child's death. It makes her look guilty from the start.

There's no way you don't report the kid missing for a month and continually tell your parents they're at a nanny/with a babysitter either.

to be honest with you I think she did do it. who in their right mind go out and party like it's nothing happen when their child is missing. that not right at all man. that woman did killed her child and lies to the cops about it. someone like that need to be lock away for life. the damn jury felled for the old water work trick that all I going to.

This bothered me so much.

I for one think she must have killed her child. Even if she didn't (which it's pretty obvious she must've) she still deserves a lot of punishment for keeping it secret like that and freaking partying like its no big deal! Its a horrible thing to hear about and even more horrible that they let her get away with that.. Only in America could we possibly let something so wrong slide like that.

This is ludicrous. I think Anthony should have been sentenced to jail for life.

However, I think the main reason why she got off wasn't the lack of evidence, but the fact that she was facing the death penalty if convicted. Some might say that she would deserve to die, but those who thought that the evidence was inconclusive would have seen it as

A) Let an innocent or partially guilty person go, or

B) Sentence an innocent or only partially guilty person to death.

All in all, I'm certain her life is about to get really, really unpleasant.

Since they can't get her on the murder charge again I'm sure if they take her back to court and charge her for child neglect then the jury would have to see the facts.A mother of a baby was out doing something else while her daughter was missing for more than 48 hours without a known person looking after them.That should be more than enough evidence that she wasn't a responsible caretaker,and I'm sure if they look at her past history they'll see that when she should have been taking care of her daughter she was off doing who knows what at who knows where.

That was one of the charges in the trail and she was also found not guilty for that charge.

As to the other comments, like I said earlier: People deal with grief in different ways, so her partying was no proof of anything. The main thing is that the prosecution had no solid evidence to prove that she murdered her daughter, they don't even know how the baby died. Really the only thing they could prove is that she lied to the police.

It upsets me that a woman who killed her 2 year-old daughter is filed not guilty and is going to be rich too. If justice won't get her, I know karma will,because NOBODY can escape karma.

I think the fact that she threw every member of her family under the bus was kinda crazy and she blamed their treatment to herself as a part of a reason as to why it all happened.

No matter what partying is partying she should've been watching the kid not off on her own.

I think she just has mental issues, and a nigh god complex. But that doesn't = murder in my honest opinion. Besides the fact all the evidence was circumstantial. I think that the verdict was justified for that reason alone. It could have easily been an innocent walking away seeing as no evidence was definitive.

She probably did it, if we are to go by psychological statistics her behavior makes it clear enough. But that isn't enough to be judged I guess. Probably a good thing with freak occurrences but not with the common case, I digress though.

Either way I got over it. This crap happens all the time, both the case outcome and the crime itself. Only reason anyone gives a damn at all is because of the media publicizing it and creating a beast of a story from nothing of real importance. No one bothered to make a fuss over the fact that a serial child rapist who was convicted of raping and killing several dozens of children (he kept all the bodies buried infront of his house, which were found) got out of prison after 11 years because of "good behavior" (read: obvious corruption) and is now out in the world, having seemingly disappeared after his release. And perhaps coincidentally, the local villages reported missing children in droves directly after his release, after 11 years of peace. He has yet to be found.

But who cares, I mean it's not like it's in America or anything, we had better watch the case over some stupid ass white girl that likely killed her kid because she herself has yet to grow up. Yes, much more important than any of the other cases going on. I wonder if the media is a clever way of people in power focusing our attention on small things while the big events that matter are done on the side-lines unopposed, seems like a simple way of controlling the masses in our age of lethargic technology abuse.

Bah to it all. Her life will never be the same anyways. Either way her life was doomed. This one will just take longer. Unless a mob forms or something to that effect.

Makes sense. I guess we can't really come to a conclusion. Still, I believe she should have been convicted of some form of child abuse or neglect.

She pretty much screwed herself. Murder and/or neglecting your child is bad either way.
