Which Scene/episode to use to create a new Naruto fan, And why?

I think The Sasuke vs Naruto fight at the valley, because of shocking effect of kid ninjas fighting on water with so much speed, cool hand to hand combat(taijutsu), well this scene was my turning point to become a fan.

for action: naruto vs sasuke or kisame vs KB

The first episode is pretty good I think, but for action, I'd go with the Sasuke vs. Itachi fight.

When 2nd Hokage makes Sarutobi Hokage ( they show it when Danzou fights Sasuke and Danzou's getting flashbacks)
Why: It's sad and deep

People who have never seen naruto won't be able to feel the emotions of either of those episodes, because they don't understand the entire backstory to why those events are happening.

When the 2nd Hokage is giving Saru the position of Hokage, it is emotional, you feel for Danzo at the fact that he thought he was the best, and that he deserved the position more, but instead it was giving to Sarutobi. Now, without seeing the previous episodes, with Sarutobi alive, and making decisions, along with Danzo in the prvious episodes, you don't understand the relationship between the two, therefore all you see is some kid getting the spot of "Kage" over a jealous one.

The Itachi and Sasuke fight is even worse in terms of backstory. You have to understand the entire chain of events leading up to the Uchiha massacre, the way sasuke was treated compared to his older brother, and also the motives behind the attack on the clan, and on Itachi by Sasuke. I would highly recommend NOT showing this episode to a new-comer because that would ruin the entire epicness of the moment for you and the person you're showing it to.



Here are my choices:

The First 3 Episodes of Naruto Shippudden.

The reason I chose this part within the storyline is the fact that you are introduced to all the main characters, you'll choose who you'll root for early on, and the antagonists are introduced aka the guys in black and red. You are shown the outline of the backstory: What's happening, Where, Why, by who, and when.

There is comedy in these episodes and also action, there are events that will have the people on the edge of their seats screaming more even for first timers who have no idea what's going on.


So yeah.

For me, it's Episodes 1-3 of Shippudden. Mainly the most boring episodes for long time viewers, but a very good action filled sequence for newbies to the franchise and series as a whole.

hmmm....now that I think it through your kinda right
reason I picked Itachi vs Sasuke was because of the action which would make newcomers more interested
the other one you do have a point though ( though ya you still feel some emotion)
And ya probably starting at the beginning of Shippuden or Naruto (original) would be good for first time viewers so then they would understand it better

i would say the first 3 also. i watched naruto then stopped for a while. wasnt a fan yet i just loved the whole ninja thing at first. well i had a friend tell me to watch those three episodes cuz if i remembered anything from naruto the the beginning of naruto shippuden would refreash your memory and it did by the end of that third episode i was hooked i mean everything is naruto now.lol even the background on my phone is. so yea in agreement first 3 episode

The 1st 3 episodes are good, if Naruto is all about Shippuden. Most people when forced to watch a new movie/anime they tend to be impatience, So scenes that keep them seated should be Ideal like The sasuke rescue Arc series - packed with strange formidable villians and 5 kids with different powers(powers that will be revealed with good amount of details during battles)trying to rescue their friend - action adventure filled for new comers.
Probably, Start when They are about to leave the village(which contain sakura weeping, Naruto lifetime promise scene and so-on)
Definitely,they will be questions which needs answers, That is signs that he/she is digging it.
