You can't really punish in this game. You can sub at any point of any attack, and a decent player will either not attack and guard + use supports to attempt to stall (I say attempt because it's very difficult now) or force subs from the opponent, or only use combos and will cancel before you punish him.

well actually things are still punishable by jutsu since most are one hits and still need paying attention cus what makes the subing so easy now is wether you do it before the attack hits or afters. if you arnt paying close atention and try to sub to late you will still take the damage but just be back on your feet. plus you cant realy over do it or your screwed. its also important to know your oponents support timing because if you cancel to long on somone even tho they mite have no subs you mite be hit by there support and not deliver the finishing blow wich is the most damaging. i ges that is why having 1 support will actully be alittle more handy now since they come back faster. i already know i wanna have a team made of mei and kurotsuchi being the only support.

Also, because alot of jutsu are cinematic e.g. Rasengan, PTS Neji's Kaiten, PTS Chouji etc... Many of them will still be inescapable. Because you can't KNJ in between the scene.

something will still probably be able to punish people even if they do cancel cus some move are just that fast like maybe haku ult. idk have to test it when the game come out. so has anyone wonder how the people who can teleport in awakening mode will do now with the canceling system. will they still teleport in between combose cus i heard they cant but i remember seeing in a demo that they can. there awakening is kinda less useful but it would suck if they cant cus it could still be used for people who run and for dodging things like jutsu.

while it's true that cinematic jutsu are inescapable once your hit, the same is not true for combos. if u sub on the hit of a combo right before the cinematic part u will appear behind ur opponent while they are still do the attack, it may be usefull to know this when thinking about strategies... unless they changed it for this game...

i just wanna say what the heck cc2 akatsuchi darui and chojuro are bosses for the naruto 3ds game but arnt playable here. that is kinda disappointing and i think kurotsuchi should of been the boss.

Just so you guys know, the American Demo is now up for the PS3. At the moment you can only find it if you search for the name, right now. Also the Demo apperantly is less MB than the jap version.

I hope someone uploads videos soon because it doesnt seem like the 360 will get the demo -_- (I only want videos because I want to hear who will voice Serious Tobi)

Serious Tobi sounds deep again according to a video on SI. I prefer him with a deep voice, I wonder if his VA is Nolan North again for that fact. Really wasn't fond of his Impact dub. Stick with one voice please.
Nice to have the Third Hokage's voice narrate stuff again, sets the mood.

No its not Noland North , If you watch the dub's latest episode where tobi reveals himself to be Madara, they are using that voice that they gave him for the anime, which is understandable ...... It's just I prefer Noland North over this guy (Im not sure who he is)

I was sorta hoping that they would use Noland North's voice track for this version of Tobi since he was in storm 2, and for the new Tobi that fought minato they could have used his new voice.

Also yeah, his impact voice was horrible, he sounded deep at first but then after a while he starts to have a more childish voice.

lol in the English and Japanese credits they put Neji's Seiyuu/Voice Actor Koichi Tochika and Steve Staley as Jiraiya, and put Lee's voice actor Brian Donovan as Tsunade.

Also Nolan North IS playing Madara/Serious Tobi, it is said in the opening credits.

I wasn't sure who was playing Madara after episode 125, but after playing the Demo could it possibly be that Nolan North is actually playing Madara? (He normally doesn't do anime roles, so that may be why he sounded amazing in Storm 2 while sounding a bit off in the anime)

Im still not 100% sure that Nolan North is the voice of Tobi.

I think there has to be some kind of mistake (I mean the credits did make a lot of mistakes character voice wise)

This game is using his Anime Voice and I did my research and the guy who does Serious Tobi in the Anime is Noah Nelson. So IDK anymore im lost

Maybe it is Nolan, its just it sounds so much like Noah's voice
