So, when did you all realize that you liked/enjoyed the character of Hidan?

I think I knew right away that he had a really interesting design and personality.

I think Hidan is really hardcore, moreso than most of the villains who end up being pansies at the end of their run.XD

Umm... Hmmm.... I think I started to like him because when you like I guess you could say meet the character in that episode, I loved how he complained and his cussing, I know and live around people with a mouth like that so I am used to it. I thought it was really funny!!!
HE is the best. But true i did not like that he killed asuma

Who else wishes Hidan had stayed in the story longer? I think his character and religion had potential to make a good story if it had been incorporated into the main plot.

I think it's mean that Kishimoto never lets Hidan be mentioned again in the manga. Not only did he rush him out too soon, but he can't even mentioned again. Kishimoto really has no heart for anyone who likes Hidan, it's sad.

Do any of you have any Hidan merchandise?

I have a figure, a cell phone strap figure, a plush keychain, another little keychain, a metal plate keychain, and a card and towel set. I also have a trading card. These are all the officially licensed items from Japan. They seriously need to make more, because Hidan makes for great merchandise.

I also have some fanart, some doujinshis (Japanese fanart books), all the manga volumes featuring Hidan, and some plush dolls.

Oh, and I have a custom My Little Pony that is painted with Hidan's ritual form, it even has a scythe. I commissioned an artist to make it for me.

The cool thing is, Hidan's seiyuu likes horseback riding. I didn't even know that when I had the pony made.
