Question a T-Rex vs a giant Rhino thing

inspired by the whale vs bear thread

The T -Rex

one of the most bad ass predators to ever exist, possessing arguably the greatest bite force ever, these massive killing machines stalked and hunted the giants of prehistoric earth

his prey is

this giant walking abomination

looking like a giraffe got plastered and did a fusion dance with a Rhino this animal was the largest land mammal ever to exist, at eighteen feet tall and twenty six feet long he's only slightly smaller than the Rex and about the same weight more or less

fight takes place in Jurassic park

Hows this go? Does Super sissy win the day? Or does Sharptooth claim another victim?

It was believed that T Rex's bite wasn't great of "beast's great bite". Dinosaurs are debated over so much that it's pretty much up to our imagination on how their skin looks like, versus popular belief.

I don't know much about this giant Rhinorse, but it doesn't seem formidable against the Rex. It seems to be around like those of a young Brachiosaurus.

this thing can kick and ram at its attacker, also there's a lot of speculation about mammals being generally just tougher than Dinos of comparable sizes

personally I think its biased outside of certain cases

An Indricothere can be twice as tall as a T-Rex - and three times as heavy. It certainly has the advantage of size and bulk here. Kicks coming from an animal with that much weight to throw around are going to hurt.

The T Rex would kill him and if he loses his bite would still infect the rhino eventually killing it. They would have rotten bacteria invested flesh in their teeth that made their teeth very nasty.

to be fair Rexes did hunt larger dinosaurs than themselves and while some did end up being crushed to death or killed, it wasn't a regular occurrence.

They should still have an edge

So Vivi was right on the Spinosaurus being the possibly the largest reptilian carnivore.

I always feel bad about T-Rex's small arms. So many of life's pleasures missed out on.

Anyway, Rhinos are herbivores. AKA Nature's Pansies.

I dunno man it's hard for me to imagine elephants and hippos as pansies considering their some of the most violent murderers in Africa

The size dissonance we're talking for common T-rex encounters with other creatures are several meters either way - nothing close to double the height. There is some truth to your post, but certain species of Hadrosaur were about the only things a T-Rex would have voluntarily hunted that were larger than them, and even then they almost never fought back - they were far too flighty. Of course, that's not to say that Rexy loses, merely that people really shouldn't underestimate the advantage of size and bulk, especially to this degree.

As for the infectious bacteria, that is pure conjecture at this point. It was a theory raised a while back, but as far as I'm aware hasn't been adequately supported.

Edit: I think I see an issue. Your measurements in the OP, where did you get them from?
My estimates are running off of this, as it seems to be the only genus which fits the description and image provided in the OP and of which any reasonably amount of information is known.
