It's just how they could'ave been friends but it's because they were in rival clans that they ended up fighting/trying to kill each other imagine if there wasn't any wars in naruto it would defeats the whole anime and it would be a boring story but imagine...

This Chapter made me sad

I doubt you would keep it dry if you read romeo and juliet.

Kinda sucks what both of their clans have to go through. But not everybody is heartless.

There is always something good in people, like Hashirama and Madara

Not sad - annoyingly dragging and implying another month of waiting for the main/current plot.
I hate flashbacks that don't have direct influence on the current plot (and SHORT ones anyways, not month-long).
This one doesn't - it just tells us some HashiMada history, which I could wait for until the battle is over (or before it went so intriguing).
Kishi is really angering me by making me KNOW that I'll have to wait a good month for the current plot continuation.
GRRR!!!

I liked romeo and Juliet except the annoying part where I wanted to punch the screen because Romeo drank the death potion when he saw her move :@

Ugh. I hated reading Romeo and Juliet. In my opinion, chptr. 623 is really sad, but is extremely necessary.

This chapter is an example of kishi making changes to his original ideas and he did it real well... it's like how he hadn't planned for naruto's parents to be shown and their sacrifice...and the whole kushina thing...it was a replaced plot which turned out better!

So was this chapter... one of my favorites... now it's make Madara fighting Hashi in the next few upcoming chapter more provocative and engaging... instead of mindless fighting from the very start as enemies.

Something isn't right about them fighting but I want to see young Tobi and Izuna fight as well as the parents. But I completely agree about the whole unnecessary thing. This chapter was pointless, should have started the fight in this chapter.
