Still there shouldve been no way that the same natsu who got one shotted by laxxus should last longer then 10 seconds aginst a wizard saint. Erza i can understand(vs jose) and she still lost. The seriously jellal vs natsu just screamed plot.

Even jura admitted there's inequalities between the mage saints, that there's no way he could be in the same league as markarov just because of the honorary title. It also shows that magical stamina doesn't equate to magical power. :P

but ofcourse there's plot involved. Natsu's horizons are broadening by the chapter. He's gone from getting sick from eating lightning, to absorbing an incalculable amount of power from etherion in a matter of 3050.. chapters, you know when he fought jelly man.

Nice chapter, but of course I would say that as Laxus is my favorite character from FT. It was cool to see Gray and Juvia fighting together again as their powers really do work hand in hand. Is it bad that I'm more interested in the Grand Magic Games bouts than what's happening in the castle even though the fights are significantly less important to the plot?

We all like what we like. But that's false to say the magic games are insignificant atm. That other dragon slayer from sabertooth is probably gonna be an obstacle for natsu in the castle.
