Seriously that has to be the shortest manga appearance ever. This beats the world record for shortest cameo in fiction easily.

Also the panel with hashi-dad punching hashi should replace with btaman slapping robin meme.

Anyway i dont see why people are so shocked about 7 year olds dying in war while its happening in our world right now at this precise moment. Welcome to reality certain places on our world arent much more pleasant then that of naruto in fact some are far worse.

Still dont get why an uchiha and a senju can meet so casually i mean madaras hair already gives it away. And why are there no battle near the valley/puddle?

See what I posted above. Madara's hairstyle is by no means exclusive to the Uchiha. Also, Hashirama might already know that Madara is an Uchiha, but just doesn't care.

Just because there is fighting in a general area, doesn't mean there is going to be a battle taking place in all parts of the area every minute of every day. I don't get what peoples' problems with this is. The valley is likely somewhat removed from the place where most of the fighting occurs and there is no strategic importance to fighting in the area where Hashirama and Madara met.

I enjoyed reading this chapter because of the development between Madara and Hashirama. That scene where Hashi was all sulking and wouldn't tell Madara what's wrong at first was very touching... It was somehow more meaningful then whatever existed between Naruto and Sasuke; they never really 'talked' or got through to each other even though they both went through hard times and always considered each other rivals

Madara said something really deep: ''From what I can tell, the only way we can avoid that is to be upfront and honest with the other side perhaps even, I don't know, form an alliance with them but that's just wishful thinking...because we are all too proud to allow ourselves to be that vulnerable''

@Kakashi Hatake_Yamato. You are right about the negative ghosts (Jeez I shouldn't have reminded you!) Hashi looked so depressed! But it was nice seeing Madara trying to cheer him up!

It was the only reasonable part of the chapter, sadly. The idea that two enemy combatants are wandering around by a river and become "friends" is the absurd part. Especially since the Senju and Uchiha had apparently been at war for generations. As if Madara isn't obviously an Uchiha. Nobody else has hair like that...

It didn't look to me like Itama was trying to fight back...he was scared as hell...

And, i don't think Hashi and Madara meeting was absurd because Hashirama clarified this by saying "is the war reaching here too" as if that place was some sort of "no man's land" or neutral ground...

But still, i get ur point on the war issue...

At first it seemed it was but now looking at it in context and their lifestyle its not that farfetched. Absurd and unreasonable things have occured far worse than this in real history.

In a state of war and chaos, any sense of normalcy is a welcome.

As if Madara isn't obviously an Uchiha. Nobody else has hair like that...

With Madara's defeat everyone is going to make nice and let go of their old grudges, joining hands in unity under the banner of the heroic messiah Naruto who can now preach the good word of tolerance and friendship without having to sully his hands with forcing the world onto that path.

If you only look at Zero Requiem from the viewpoint of the Black Knights then Lelouch was just as over the top power hungry as Madara. You have to keep in mind that Madara isn't the lead character of the series so we don't get to see much of his private thoughts and motivations... Even then, Lelouch wasn't particularly heroic either.

Yes, life is absurd, but fiction isn't life. Many things people do in life don't work in fiction. For instance, coincidence is common, but enough of it will kill a story -- likewise with thinking about the past (i.e. flashbacks).

I think these were just clan wars and the great shinobi world wars didn't begin until after the villages were founded.

This was just clan wars. The "Great Ninja War(s)" involved actual villages fighting one another.

Also, Second Hokage Tobirama died during the First Ninja World War, so that's anotehr affirmation that it was indeed villages, and Konoha was already developed and had already had Hashirama as Hokage before he passed it to Tobirama.
