Konoha was formed 80 years before series start and Kakuzu was 91 at the time of death.

Seeing as Hashirama doesin't seem to look older then how he was shown during those times then we can assume he died not long after the Leaf Village was formed.

91-80=11.

Kakuzu was around 11 years old when he fought Hashirama >.>

It's possible that Kakazu had grown a lot weaker as he got older I guess.

Kakuzu was young and while still very strong as an elite ANBU member of his village he didn't have any crazy abilities like he has now. He would have been around Kakashi's age, however Hashirama was already Hokage meaning he was in his prime.

Don't overestimate Hashirama too much, remember that the third was the strongest Hokage. Akatsuki consist of Kage level and above members, like Sasori who killed two Kazekage's, one being the strongest.

Actually there is no mention of deidara when sasori told that he killed the third.

How does whenever time he died after the series start affect what age he was when he fought Hashirama?

We know he died at the age of 91, and that Konoha was formed 80 years before series start so.......it doesin't take much to find out that he was around the age of 11 when he fought Hashirama.

Either way, 14-15 is still pretty young to be fighting a monster like Hashirama who most likely wasin't weaker then when he was in his prime.

The third was further back. You picked the wrong one of the "two kazekage's." The second is gaara, who Deidara fought, not Sasori.

you added instead of subtracted the 3-4 years. If konoha is created 80 years before the start of Naruto, and we pass another 3-4 years by the time Kakuzu died at 91, then the village was created 83-84 years before he died.

That would make him 7-8 years old at the creation of konoha.

Anway, why can't we assume a few years passed from the founding, to fighting madara, to fighting kakuzu, to Tobirama taking over? Are their any other events in time I'm not aware of? Based on Jiraiya's appearance, we can't assume Hashirama was still young, and that was why he died shortly after the founding. And then came back full of youth. And like Tsunade, he may have looked young because of a Senju affect.

I meant the Fourth Kazekage not Gaara. Sasori killed Gaara's father during the time when Orochimaru invaded Konoha.

No he didin't. They may not have shown it in the manga but Orochimaru did indeed kill The Fourth Kazekage.

A says that Suna used Akatsuki to try to destroy Konoha, further explaining that they did not know whether Orochimaru was still part of Akatsuki or not but that the incident caused The Fourth Kazekage's death.

Well, isn't that just Iruka's biased/incomplete opinion? We're seeing a lot of stuff here lately in Naruto coming as "storyteller-bias", where we find that someone said something, only for it to turn out not to be exactly true, or tainted with their own perceptions/biases, etc.. I really like that about this as that's what happens here in the real world too. But yeah, the whole "The third is the Strongest Hokage" sounds rather like that. Not to put him down or anything, he's darn strong on his own. But it doesn't look like he's got anything on Hashi. (Note: IIRC at least one person in the anime labeled the "strongest Hokage" as Minato, didn't they?)

I thought Kimimaro killed him for Orochimaru? It showed him doing it in a flash back in an episode.

That was in the anime and was never shown in the manga. Also it still showed Orochimaru stabbing The Fourth Kazekage with his Sword of Kusanagi, not Kimimaro

We don't even know how 3rd Kazekage actually died.
Also Gaara is likely the strongest Kazekage now.
