So i just started to play Dark Souls.

And in died like 30 times in the first hours BUT I FINALLY killed that taurus ******

At first i thought ima troll this so called boss and simply use bow and arrow on him from the safety of my tower. Then after liek 1 arrow taurus demon proceeds to CLIMB the tower (which i wasnt aware he was able to do)

Then while im still in too much shock too throw my controller at the wall

He stands on the tower jumps and crushes my to death.

I have seen like 3 playthroughs of people beating him but my heart is still pumping from that fight.

That's what makes this game so amazing...the thrill of discovering new areas and challenges and feeling like a boss after completing them...its so old school and hardcore.

Seriously, NEVER GIVE UP UNTIL YOU FINISH THE GAME......its a masterpiece LOL

my game crashed when i was about to kick some major knight ass (they killed me before by flippin 3-way sandwiching me, but NO MORE my drake sword shall taste their blood!)

Killed those knights, murked 2 gargoyles ringed a bell murked an titanite demon an annoying mage with 1000 minions and found another bon fire. /got drake sword/knights shield/upgraded armor.

Almost near the next boss fight.

Progress sure feels nice.

Darkwood garden,Lower Undead burg, Depths

Stil loving this game , slayed an giant butterfly a black knight, then got pwned by the red wyvern(died 8 times ) then after hours of searching i finally found lower undead burg. Got ganked by parrying thieves (annoying as ****) , slayed capra demon on first try (why do people say hes so hard the thieves were more challenging). entered the depths, that place really creeps me out. Those blobs or whatever they are are gorss and scary random falling on my head. Saved some random dude.
Slayed 2 butchers (first i thought it was an nps who sold stuff ).
Found alot of stuff fell through a whole luckily didnt get cursed.met this weird merchant. killed a mage.

Met the gaping dragon. THAT THING SCARES THE **** OUT OF ME. Cutscene plays 'aww a crocodile this isnt going to be so....OMG GET ME OUT OF HERE. Offcourse died the first time battlign gaping dragon.Used summon signs for the first time summoned two peeps. Went back to gaping dragon got him to 1/3 of his live then got pwned T.TSummoned 2 otherpeople ganked kirk , got a Dragon king axe but cant wield it (YSTRREQSOHIGH) killed gaping dragon (YES)
Now about to enter blighttown i heard this part of the game is really hard.The is the first game in ages which actually has scared me so much. Awesome.

Gonna make this like an Dark souls log. Just cause.

Anyway entered blighttown, got pwned by the fat dudes like 5 times . Then the blowdart guys proceed to give me toxin all the time. Each trying to run as far as possible hoping to find an bonfire. Also random zombies jumped on me and ate my face multiple times. Then i saw 2 cute little red puppys who proceed TO SPIT FIRE(serious wtef moment) , found lots of souls, and finally found the bonfire in the middle.

The other part went pretty much easy saw this large tentacle thing, no way i was fighting that thing up close so i spammed arrows. Killed some blowdart guys(bastards, kicked their bodies of the platform). entered fog gate, went down encountered FIRE BREATHING bugs(does everything in this game spit fire?!) and annoying mosquitos trying to poision me. killed all the bugs then encountered an posion swamp. found an bonfire (hurray).Then i first went the wrong way trying to use to shortcut to new londo ruins(which is didnt know of yet) but phailed. Decided to become human for some co-op so . Encountered a pyro teacher(im going to learn fire whip when i get back there/also learnt pyromancy btw ), killed the boulder guys, some bugs and maneater mildred(she/he was easy).

The bewbs awesome/spider attached to it less awesome. Anyway summoned mildred and threeway pwned that spider witch it was way to easy with three people. Then i ran ahead found a strange lever (didnt even know what it did) but i rang the second bell , awesome cutscene, ran down furhter found fake wall, killed the guy whos an potential pyro teacher(well the game pretty much teaches you to attack everything you see) found another bonfire/firekeeper. Entered demon ruins and got the F out , thats place looks horrible and i dont want to die with those 30k souls on me. Leveled at bonfire.
Was stuck for ages their until i finally made the shortcut(between my attempts i found the crimson set, remedy spell, power within spell and firekeeper soul).

Sens Fortress

Got back to firelink some bastard killed the firekeeper T.T.Guy at bonfire disappearred. Got all kinds of upgrades for armor(im still using the starter set )/weapon(changed to falchion cause idk faster?)
got pwned by traps and serpents. fell down/was shot down the narrow path by snake mages. Finally made it.(in short between every room i died atleast 5 times i know the castel inside out now) talked to onion armor guy. Got lots of loot(including this ring which increases drop rate awesome) , saved some random dude, died alot again made it to the top finally!. Googled the bonfire(no way im doing everything over again) , got NUKED by annoying giant bastard. Made the bonfire. Farmed souls, leveled up/upgrade(falchion +10ftw). Died 100 times at iron golem, (his weakness is rolling through his legs), pwned iron golem. Got abducted by random gargoyles am i :S, btw a chest tried to eat me. (no not the good kind of chest)

Anor Londo?

pwned giant iron statue, ran like a bish from the other two. Found bonfire. Killed gargoyle. Jumped to my death(thank you player messages). Finally got some magic(also freed the other magic seller). Got pyro flame to +9. pwned statues with magic weapon. Killed mimic(those thing are scary) , walked across beam in the castle. Ninja'd my through paint guards and on beams(longbow ftw). Entered fog gate, pulled lever, killed gargoyle, walked across bridge found lower level of castle, killed some more paint ninjas. Gound black and paint armor set. Examined pictured which sucked me up into another are. O.o where am iiiiiiiiiiiii

Painted world of ariamis

Atleast there is a bonfire but no way back, killed zombies(they gives lots of souls in this area leveled like 3 times easily). Then came across musroom/infected people 1.they are scary 2. THEY SPIT FIRE at me(sigh everything does) 3. if you do killed them you gets toxin'ed(and im out of moss clumbs -.-)
Killed them with pyromancy. Fought albino rats(gave lots of humanity) fought more of everything. Arrow spammed zome wierd zombie dragon(LOVE YOU LONGBOW +6 , upgraded it to plus 10 btw), killed birdpeople, went back to bonfire cause i ahd like 30k souls. Still stuck there T.T

The thing about the difficulty is that it basically goes away after your first few playthroughs, or your first one. Game's still amazing though.

still on my first playthrough just beat anor londo , ornstein and smough are giant a-holes. Never died so much in my entire gaming carreer.

What kind of build(s) do u use thinking about making my character a buff characters(have great magic weapon atm) with a bandit knife to dish out fast damage and maybe add a miracle or two. Used pyromancy but other then the fact it doesnt require faith or int it doesnt seem that usefull.

In defense of the game, that's pretty much expected because you will have learned to identify enemy placement and attack patterns, as well as become more experienced with the metagame by the time an additional playthrough or two comes about. Given the importance of timing in I'd be genuinely surprised if the game didn't seem to get easier after successive playthroughs.

Currently defeated seath and nito. These two are ridiculously easy for people who are in the intro of the game. Or ornstein and smough are making them look easy

Got the prepare to die edition so i got all dlc. Probably gonna do it just before fighting gwyn.

Does demon souls differ much from dark souls?

Dark Souls is basicaly Demons Souls 2...
Just doesnt have that name cause Sony owns the rights of Demons Souls (PS3 exclusive)

Its pretty much the same with some changes in gameplay.
With diferent armors, weapons, areas, Bosses, story, sorceries and miracles (no pyromancy in Demons)
of course.

Almost finished with both the game and the dlc. Dark magic pwns.

All thats left now is gwyn, but he seems rather easy.(i already fought him once but just didnt want to go into ng+ just yet) artorias was more annoying then he was.

Yeah, DLC Bosses are harder than normal ones imo (they had to be though... I mean, I bought the DLC for a challenge ) ( on the other hand, NG+++++ here so its almost impossible to kill any boss easily )

Gwyn can be easy or hard... depends on your playstyle...
But hes not there to be an OVERPOWERED BOSS... I believe hes there to show you how the mighty Lord of Sunlight was reduced to an Hollow protecting whats left of his flame...
