You mean Heller? There're rumors going about that that wasn't the real Alex, and that Alex wanted/needed to get consumed. Even the Achievement/Trophy called "Murder your Maker?". The ? may mean a great many things so we can't conclude Mercer's and Hellers strength. Also i'l say that the enemies in Prototype are above that in Infamous. Compare the Behemoth from Infamous to the Goliath in Prototype. Kessler to Elizabeth Green. Generally Prototype is stronger, The only reason Alex got stomped was because he was a noob with his powers.

were talking about a guy with near weather control here how would mercer get close? Whipfist, Extreme Speed, Ground Spikes. Mercer has many ways to get close.

Depends on the range.
If Alex can get close, he stomps.

I see him winning even in a distanced scenario, just not as easily.

Just to point out that the Beast is strong enough to crush both InFamous (evil Ending, without Beast and Kessler) and Prototype verse!!!

Yeah i'd say the walking nuke is more dangerous (again city wiper here)

With coles enormous array of eletro, pyro and even ice powers how could mercer dream of coming close.

I dont see how mercer would take this easy mode. He takes this high difficulty at minimum(if he takes it). There is a large difference between a conduit and the rnaodm fodder alex fights

Does Cole have both pyro and ice? I thought he could only have one of them. Anyway the beast isn't in this fight. To me Cole doesn't seem that durable, he is only human with a few powers. Whereas Alex is a weapon made for killing. Its true that Cole has more firepower but i really don't see lightning doing all that much to him.

Alex has devastators that wreak anything in the area. A spike graveyard and a tentacle/whipfist Black hole. To add even more to his defense he has a solid Armour that puts thermo weapons in the same category as a slingshot.

Also Mercer is extremely fast as he casually races past helicopters. He can you the Whipfist to simple attack Cole and grab him, He could throw trucks and helicopters at him. He could jump behind or ontop of buildings and strike Cole when he least expects it.

I say he takes it Mid to High difficulty.

If you play through both karmic sides cole can get both powers. Cole surived being crushed under a building , a building block type explosion, being cruhsed by the beast(that thing towers everything in the city) . He more durable then he looks.

Cole has ionic freeze, ionic storm, and can summon tornados. Besides what would a spikegraveyard do cole can just lightning tether his way through the city a la spiderman.+ semi flight from static thrusters and that fire bird power

Cole blows up both trucks and helicopters casually. The dude can easily throw cars as projectiles. Cole can sense him, he will be always expecting it.

Anyway trucks and helicopters wont do much against cole.

Doesn't matter even if their stats are even(pretty sure they are not) mercer is all around the better fighter no disputing that fact. Cole just has powers not really much of a fighter.
