At one point in the game for you though, you may need to be dependant on other roles too, lets say 3 other morons decide they want to be an ADC melee right?

It's moronic if I want to be Warwick or Xin Zhao.
So, instead, pick ranged support, or even AP, like say Malzahar.
So Irelia would be boss in most situations, me and Kad try to mold into new champs to try and compliment the teams choices, and some follow our example, most times when someone compensates for team picks in blind picks, instead of doing what they want, you end up getting better teamwork, AKA winning.
But for the most part, it gets demoralizing if your team has 3 supports or 3 tanks.
Or three of any role.
Or people fighting for lanes, that should be organized intelligently in the lobby to avoid confusion.

I bought Yorick and Pentakill Yorick because cool skin. Not so good with him right off the bat, but I was getting the hang of him.

Flat armor seals.
Flat magic resist glyphs.
Magic pen. marks.
Attack damage marks.
Flat attack damage quints.
Flat ability power quints.

I went with scaling, but runes are "early game dominance."

Marks, are either Flat Magic Pen, or Armor Pen, or Flat AP/AD

Quints, that's either flat AP, or flat AD.

But, depending on what you do, if your tank, I would get armor/magic resist marks, mostly armor though, and if your jungling, I have no idea what runes you should buy, but basic AP/AD is what I stated above, unless you eat mana, then Mana regen flats.
I like flats better, but scaling might be your fiddle.

If you only have two rune pages, just start with the basic AP and AD pages. More rune pages allows you to branch out more, but again, you only have the two.

my rune pages are creative 7 greater seal of armour on both 7 greater glyph of magic resist on both

ability page
7 greater mark of magic penetration
2 greater quintessence of ability power

attack page
7 greater mark of attack damage
2 greater quintessence of attack damage
