Cool! It's pretty much like Storm 2, but more advanced! I really wish Storm 1 was this way so that the whole storm series (not including Generations) could feel complete.

so? whats wrong with that? its not like his ultimate will just be a cannon blast is it, its bound to be a planetary Devastation + Chakra Cannon combo.

I'm curious in that scan, the screenshots of Tobi, are they calling Tobi "Tobi" or is his name going to be "Madara"?
Can anyone possibly translate?

Also, my rough assumption is that Nagato probably won't have his chakra cannon solely as his ultimate. They'll probably add to it otherwise it's just going to be another generic explosion.

Yes, you have a point here, maybe his cannon blast may be part of the cinematic ougi. In fact, it would be cool if the ougi went like this:

-Nagato uses Planetary Devastation

-Rocks cover opponent

-Nagato uses cannon blast and blasts the rock

-EPIC EXPLOSION!

True, Pain's ougi in storm 2 was too generic. I wonder if CC2 decides to bring Pain back to the game and add blood splatter to the ougi

Off-topic: Doesn't Nagato's cannon gun remind you of Super 17's machine gun hand from Dragonball GT?

If Pain is in he won't be upgraded moveset-wise in the slightest.
