Relating Fairy Tail to One Piece

Aside from some of the obvious things like magic = devil fruits, Gildarts = Shanks, characters being like other characters and whatnot, I just realized something else.

Dragon Slayers = Will of D
Motion Sickness = Unable to Swim

I am intrigued.

I just think it's interesting. I think both series use what they have well for what it's worth.

Gajeel had motion sickness in the Chariot race. It's supposedly restricted to higher level dragon slayers.

Fairy tail does give me a one piece vibe, and it's not just the artwork. Sometimes when something tragic happens,but then it turns out they're actually k, fairy tale gives me the pell vibe a lot.

Then there's determination and heart yada yada, both series go a little overboard with it. Half the time I'm a little indifferent to it, unless something interesting happens, such as raiding enies lobby or the tenourichi*Don't know the name, sue me) tree's blessing disappearing.

Besides that, well I like fairy tale for fairy tale and one piece for one piece :P
