It's possible but there is:
1) No reason to do it
2) It serves no purpose.

Accounts don't get deleted, just stop using the account. =]

You know how theres that option to turn saving sent messages off?

I did that and there still saving to there.

1) You have to go to your CP, and Edit Options. Under the Visitor Messaging, check the box.
2) Probably not ask. Wait to be chosen by the Admins.
3) Do something significant on the forum. Something good preferably.

And to be honest, you don't have to be mega-mod, slayer of all evil and destroyer of worlds to win. Just be cool, be active, and be yourself man.

Yeah, a couple of the private message options are really buggy on vB3.
Rice can try to fix it, but I honestly don't really have any type of suggestions for you. Try clearing your cookies, though, it could be that. That's a solution to like 80 percent of the problems on the forum.

1) You haven't received any visitor messages yet. You can test the visitor messages feature by leaving yourself a message on your profile. It should leave you a notification like a PM or friend request, and you should be able to view your visitor messages.

2) Most of our mods have been around for a goodly sum of time. Most people will be noticed and suggested by other staff members if they are worthy, usually. However, sticking to these guidelines usually helps.

• Clean infraction history
• Helpful to users on a technical level and personal level
• Play in important role in forum discussions
• Post lots, but make sure they have substance
• Be someone that you would want to be in charge of you

Winning things like MotM can definitely help your chances of becoming a mod, since it means you're recognized by people widely over the forum and everyone appreciates what you've done for the forum.

3) Basically the same stuff as mods.

There's only one that doesn't do anything here and that's the one to show a new PM notification (this was taken off by Rice from the code itself). All the other settings work just fine for me

EDIT: I checked the "Save a copy of this message in Sent Items" and the option doesn't actually get disabled even if you change it in your options. Not sure why that is happening tbh.

You have to ask AshenREAPER or Maikeru D. Shinigami for permission.
Just PM them and provide the image/images that you wanna use so they know it isin't viz related.
