I don't like him. While I admire him for doing what he thought was best for the village. He dropped the ball He assumed because Madara was a douche, the rest would be too despite the fact the rest were totally willing to side with him and his bro. He gave them a reason to not like them and he caused them to become unstable and get pissy.
I hardly doubt being pissed about watching someone close to you die makes you emo.
Also lets talk about the 7 Stages of Grief.
Some people skip stages or even repeat on the grief scale and the more the intense the emotions in the stage, the harder it is to overcome them and this especially so if you do not have a healthy method of channeling you emotions, support, and how you were trained to handle any emotion at any given time affects how long and intense a stage is or weather it is repeated or not.
Another thing
Depression can be a temporary or long term dysfunction of the mind caused by an imbalance of chemicals in the brain. It can be brought on by stress, age, or genetics. The stages of grief can be painful.
Emo is a fashion faux pas.
These terms are not interchangeable!

He most likely doesn't have the necessary chakra nature of earth. -_- That doesn't make him a failure at all. Wood Style isn't a senju kekkei genkai, its Hashirama's original jutsu.

I guess all other Senju are failures too.

You call Tobirama a failure, yet he's hyped to be the master of water style ninjutsu, AND a master of space-time jutsu. that makes sense

Come on now, you can't believe that. Hashirama is a peacekeeper. Not a president. Look at him, he's like naruto. A goof ball. And Tobirama doesn't think his actions are bad at all. You are totally making that up, even though Kishi draws his arms crossed to make him look serious, telling his older brother to shut up, and then telling it like he thinks it is.

The simple difference is Tobirama thought of the Uchiha like Naruto versions of the hulk, just that it's anger coming after hurt. Hashirama didn't give up on them.

he sucks i though he would of been cooler but he a scary biggot. He is worry that an uchiha going to wipe his a$$ he made alot of punk decisions. Like danzo he probably was jeolous and wanted thier power. The other three didnt have any fear.
Fear leads to hatered.
Sasuke was name after the thirds father which is honorable and showed they respected him, kushina seem close to mikoto which also shows that the 3rd and 4th werent worried about the uchihas. And u know they respected the first because they also elected him leader over maddy. They had no worries because they could handle there's

Well, I kinda agree with biggot, even though I think he's cool. I wouldn't say it was a punk decision. It really depends on whether he told the truth when he said madara had secret supporters. Tough situation. But he didn't lock people up either. Which orochimaru confirmed. As in the police force made them stronger.

1. He and the Second Raikage were ambushed by Kinkaku and Ginkaku.
2. Kin and Gin, who were leading the group that attacked him, are by no means "random kumo ninja".

Madara is so much more powerful than everyone except Hashirama and the Juubi, and Kurama is a tailed beast, and the strongest tailed beast barring the Juubi at that. It's not really fair to compare Tobirama to them.

Don't worry. I bet and believe Tobirama Senju will show some new feats.

I know you can't debate for him in the battlegrounds but story wise, we know he was strong.

He was said to be the strongest water style jutsu user.
We know he became Hokage. Maybe even Hashirama decided he was strong enough to be Hokage.
Danzo said Tobirama was the strongest Shinobi during his time.
Minato said he had Space time Jutsu.
He created Edo Tensei. Even if weak version, with preparation time, that makes him quite strong.
He trained Hiruzen along with Hashirama.
When Orochimaru summoned two of them against Hiruzen both were far weaker than they really were but still very strong!!!
