I'm ripping this from the George Lopez show but "I don't like getting my car started if I'm not gonna drive it anywhere." Considering I'm almost done with "hormones" all it is for me is 23 minutes of foreplay which is a pain in the ass.

I think the gags are hilarious. The way Jason says "Coooooooooouuuuuuurrrllllll" and Happy says "Doshdearrrrrrruuuu" whenever there's some romance (I'm sure this is horribly written but it's how I hear it and it's funny as hell)

It's really distracting it's like in corny porn scenes where a girl is trying to pretend like she's a serious businesswoman with her shirt half open. Part of the reason I take Minerva so seriously is because she hasn't been stripping every 5 seconds she's just been flat out evil.

But anyways, Gajeel is my favorite character in the show followed by Natsu and Laxus, then Erza and Mirajane.

TBH if Lyon doesn't wipe the floor with Gray in this fight it's going to be absolutely stupid. Lyon and Gray were essentially equal before the time skip. At this moment Lyon should be 25. He is pretty much Gray plus 7 years of training. Honestly that should put him above Erza. Gray was constantly hyped as being Natsu's level (even though he isn't but I guess you can make an argument for them in base form). Gray also has tons of potential. Lyon dragged Kagura to a stalemate and didnt look like he had a scratch on him. Then Kagura told Milliana that if it were a serious fight Milliana would be dead.

Lyon is future Gray. Gray shouldn't be able to compete with his future self unless he got weaker. A unison raid between Gray and Juvia is really the only thing I can kinda see making sense.

Just episode 1, it was pretty neat. Although it has horrible scaling if natsu is already that beast in episode 1.

I may not like naruto anymore,but he didn't punch someone half a mile until he was a ninja for 3 or 4 years. Hell even goku didn't do these things for 2 or 3 years.

Yeah, but he was a rookie for the first half of the series. A genin. o.o If he started out as a Jonin, it wouldn't be surprising if her punched someone a mile on the first episode. If Natsu wasn't already a Fairy Tail mage, it would be surprising to see him that beast, but nope. He is one, therefore, not shocking.

It's not shocking, just not my flavor or writing. I've seen series where the main guy is already awesome,but they're typically short series. :3

Thats really most of the series , natsu is being beaten to death and then natsus all like 'this brings shame to fairytail, 'nakama' etc and proceeds to wipe to floor with his opponent no matter how hyped up they were.

But the powers are nice and varied and in between the 'nakama' moments and fanservice there is some actual badassery.

But dont worry there will be plenty of beastly guys introduced who literally take natsu with one hand.
