Money can be replaced... at the cost of time... plus you're paid by the hour at most jobs, whereas that was 45 seconds.

Everyone is debating whether it will be the Playstation 4 or not. I mean, if it is, Microsoft will be behind for years in terms of sales. Playstation just passed Xbox in 2012.

Pretty much.

How else do you think Playstation is better. Microsoft took the same idea from playstation. (Built-in WiFi, different disk tray, soft touch to the power button, etc.....)

The second you announce a new console, sales dramatically drop on the old console.
They just released a Playstation store patch (1.02). I doubt they're going to be announcing a new console if they're still trying to revamp the store.

I think once you see a lack of updates is when you should expect it.

Yeah but why would they not take advantage of this oppurtunity? Getting a head start over the 720 is key for the PS4 winning the next console war.

No it isn't.
If they release second they can see what Xbox 720 did wrong.

Then they can market their product in such a way that it appears that all of the faults of the 720 aren't there in the PS4. So no, it's not an advantage for them to announce/release first. It's always better to be second.

They can't actually change anything -- the system is likely already made -- but marketing is key.
