You seem to forget that eye contact isnt needed for Genjutsu to work... the user can make it so even an object will make him enter Genjutsu, like a part of his body or something else... Eye contact isnt needed... Plus the terrain isnt available in the OP.. Which means your idea of flooding the whole place should be put on hold for now until the OP is changed

No it isnt back in part 1 gaara managed to grind enough minerals below him into sand for his giant desert tsunami he can make the sand himself hence it being there in the first place is not an requirement.

I think most if not all of sasuke genjutsu (and most of itachis) come from the sharingan a dojutsu famed for genjutsu. Dojutsu genjutsu work through eye contact only itachi was able to bring people into genjtusu with his finger. But itachis use of genjutsu was stated multiple times to be leagues above sasukes(whos better in amaterasu and manipulation of it).

Next time PLEASE make a rule that a location has to be included... Cause location play such a crucial role in these fights that without them these debates have too many wrong points in them like gaara being able to summon a whole chunk of sand and bury everyone that kind of stuff... If this is solid ground and Gaara only has his own sand to use then Sasuke wins... If the location has sand in it then Sasuke loses

Default location is an giant arena (its in the BG rules) anyway gaara can produce more sand from solid ground so their doesnt have to be any sand there.

to produce more sand from solid ground it will take lot of chakra which will kill gaara from weakness and gaara don't have Shukaku

I know the BGs havent been as lively as they used to be and we don't remember all the feats and strategies we used to for characters but that thread was a disgrace. Have we just forgotten the tiers here.

How does Gaara win? He can only block Amaterasu and Susano'o for so long and if he's not in an arena that already has sand he has to make some of his own meaning he'd have to find a way to stall Sasuke mid fight which isnt gonna happen. Sasuke has flight capability, arrows that move faster than Kakashi's reaction time, and genjutsu, genjutsu, GENJUTSU.

Don't try to write this off as something that can be handled or broken. Over the timeskip Sasuke reached a level where he could match Itachi in a non-MS genjutsu fight. Itachi who's ordinary sharingan genjutsu was about to make Naruto choke himself to death. Sasuke's genjutsu knocked Shee a genjutsu specialist out cold with one technique and no it didnt require eye contact before I have to hear that counter. Sasuke's MS genjutsu was also able to incapacitate Bee meaning if it wasnt for his bijuu that could've potentially won Sasuke the fight. Maybe if we're talking about some future Gaara with a lot more notches on his belt taking on genjutsu users like Danzo had done, I can buy it but as of now he has no genjutsu resistance whatsoever.

If anyone can give me a decent explanation as to how Gaara can counter this please respond. I just had to make a new thread here because the first one was a travesty

Also the idea of "A beating B and B beating C which means A is stronger than C" doesnt work.... Characters have different weaknesses... You can put an extermely strong character against Itachi, and it would normally rape him, but the character is weak against Genjutsu, and because of that C beats A... Weaknesses of char. are different and so because of this even a weak character can beat a strong character.

Also, that's not true, Gaara can make tsunami-s and not get tired, he's actually stronger than when he had the Shukaku.

he might be stronger but he have less and limited chakra than when he had the Shukaku and don't overestimate gaara and underestimate saskey

Also dont overestimate Sasuke and underestimate Gaara. He is kazekage for a reason. Gaara has went through countless battles without Shukaku's help. He didnt use Shukaku's chakra during his battle with Kimimaro. Yet he still had enough of his own chakra to feed his sand into the ground and create more sand. If Gaara was actually fighting on sandy ground, he would have an even greater chance at beating Sasuke. Sasuke's chakra levels arent extraordinary either. And as demonstrated by Itachi, using Susano'o and the mangekyo sharingan takes up a whole lot of chakra. And if Sasuke's Susano'o became a problem for Gaara, all Gaara would have to do is pull Sasuke out of it. The only real advantage Sasuke would have over Gaara is Sasuke's ability to cast genjutsu on Gaara. But as I said before, Gaara is kazekage. He knows all of Sasuke's abilities. He would not be caught in Sasuke's genjutsu that easily. And if he still had Shukaku, although he doesnt, Shukaku would be able to break Gaara out of the genjutsu. Like Gyuki did for Bee. But since Gaara doesnt have Shukaku anymore, I'm sure he would be very cautious the entire battle not to let Sasuke make eye contact. And even Bee could not block amaterasu. But Gaara can. That makes him awesome enough to beat Sasuke right there.

With Sand hail and attacking from the bottom Saskue has noway to counter. Genjutsu is usless cuz Garra is in his sand shield and Garra's sand is to quick for Amaterasu

Why can't he use it?
He has Sharingan, and it's what is needed to do it.
Izanagi is not a normal genjutsu, you cast it on yourself.
and Izanami doesn't require senses to be cast on the enemy.
