Yes he could because Itachi implanted his MS into Sasuke and Sasuke got the EMS when he took Itachis eyes. So Itachi could have gotten EMS through using shisuis eye and seeing him die at the same time. But he would only have on EMS eye .

Yeah true that! Sasuke never had MS to begin with, until Itachi implanted his own MS into him. And then transplanting Sasuke's eyes with Itachi's despite not having gained MS the correct way, made Sasuke's eyes into an EMS! So Itachi could've either taken Shisui's eyes back then instead of giving it to a crow, or he could've changed Sasuke's eyes into an MS and stole them. Which ruins the whole point of killing your brethren when they have MS also.

I can't remember Maybe susanoo needs two eyes, or maybe it needs the two techniques (amaterasu and tsukuyomi)

Not exactly. What you need to do is transplant a family member's MS into you - and all Uchihas are family. The closer the family member, the better the EMS would be though.

Has anybody ever thought that just MAYBE Itachi didnt kill Sasuke because it wouldnt have done him any good to do so? Sasuke didnt have the eyes Itachi needed. Yet everyone seems to think Itachi loved Sasuke and thats why he didnt kill him. Which is true, but I wonder if there's really more to the story than that. After all, Itachi was always good at pretending to be good when he was really bad, and vice versa.

BUT. I have also considered the possibility of Itachi being able to steal Sasuke's regular Sharingan, then training them himself to obtain MS. Then he would have developed EMS. Has anyone ever considered this possibility??

Everyone seems to think that you can only obtain EMS with two MS sharingan. That's true, but nobody ever said that you had to transplant eyes that already have MS. Its possible for someone else to obtain MS in someone else's eyes. Kakashi was able to obtain MS in Obito's eyes, even though thet werent his own eyes. Plus, he wasnt even a member of the Uchiha clan.

So its reasonable to say that Itachi could have trained Sasuke's regular Sharingan to have MS. He is related to Sasuke, also. So therefor he could have done it very easily. But he would have needed to kill Naruto to do that. And Naruto is a Jinchuriki. Killing Naruto wouldnt have done him any good. Plus I think he likes Naruto.

Itachi died because he was sick and overused MS besides his sickness.


Even Sasuke said that his whole body was in excruciating pain when he used Susano'o rib cage.
Now Imagine full Susano'o with MS only.
That's why Itachi ruined himself totally with the last jutsu. He shouldn't have done that, he had a few more minutes.

I'm not sure which translation you were reading, but Madara's only affliction that he noticed was going blind. And in fact, Itachi had Sasuke convinced that he was going to take his eyes for that reason and not any other illness. If you're in for a penny, why not be in for a pound and admit the whole thing? And Kakashi never mentioned anything other than blindness as a lasting side effect.

Itachi died because he was sick and you should have stopped right there, his MS had nothing to do with it.

And Susanoo causing pain is just an effect of using it. Users can get used to it as they use it more but that was Sasuke's first time using it so it's way more likely that he was shocked to learn that it would hurt to use it.

Do you have proof to back it up?

So far, The only 2 Uchiha's who were able to achieve EMS is Madara and Sasuke. They got it by transplanting their brothers MS. If EMS can be achieve by just simply transplanting another MS then Shisui and Itachi could have both swapped their MS for them to achieve EMS. It isnt that simple.

If Itachi took Sasuke's MS eyes, he'd have gotten the EMS. If Itachi took Sasuke's eyes before he had MS, no EMS.

As for Shisui and his MS, that's a good question. Madara said something about it needing to be brother's or family eyes, but really, how could he know that? When he got his EMS, the only other person in the world who had MS was his brother. Until Obito and Kakashi had the same MS eyes, the only people that had MS were Itachi and Shisui, followed up by Sasuke getting it. Now, Sasuke has EMS because he had Itachi's eyes implanted. So in the only two cases of EMS, they happened to be brothers eyes.

But we could just be looking at small sample size. I really don't know and could make a case either way. MS is MS and who cares, you get a second set and BAM!, EMS. Or you need to be clsoely related so the MS isn't rejected, but Kakashi isn't even an Uchiha and got MS from an implanted Sharingan, so are they really that picky?
