I am EXTREMELY surprised Sasuke vs Danzo and Konan vs Tobi aren't boss battles. So they didn't make a boss battle out of Sasuke's main battle, but made a boss battle out of a short skirmish between Naruto and Sasuke. I don't know what to think of this.

And Konan vs Tobi... from the looks of the chapter titles, I don't even think they'll have this battle covered in the game... at all. And the final Kisame vs Guy on the Turtle Island - the battle where Kisame dies? They can't skip this.

At least the fact that Dark Naruto has his own chapter makes it a bit more interesting. I'm looking forward to that one...

Well in a way aren't all of the other fights sorta like Mini Boss fights. Didn't an interview say that most or all fights will have secret factors during them? (like the Minato vs MM fight)

The game implied there were more than one fragment unlike Storm 2. Maybe some of those fragments involve boss battles.

Alright just want to add, the Edo Kages should almost be 100% confirmed. They aren't in a boss battle, they are only four enemies with no Zetsu's, so there is no 'mob mode' for them (and the alliance doesn't count, it'd be an overwhelming advantage if the player had the mob against a single enemy) and the Kage's character models were seen in a trailer.

If they were going to make their models and not include them in the story at all besides that clipshow, then they might as well would have made say, Pakura and Gari for that clipshow as well.

Guys there are so many boss battle but some of them are hack and slash so they couldn't make like twenty achievements on just boss battles. We already know Kinkaku and Ginkaku and Kakuzu are bosses and they don't have trophies for them

thanks hidan ....has anyone seen anything on nagato?...and I am wondering about the changes made to sasori of the sand and chiyo ...?...I am not that concerned for the hokages and jiraiya and oro as I was before. The edo kages I am very sure will be fully playable...my concern has developed for nagato!

Nagato was in the trailer as well, but he isn't in a boss battle or a mob battle either. He should be in the same boat as the Kages.

Oh and Edo-Sasori should be taking the Suna slot next to Temari and the Akatsuki (as he has a different moveset compared to Alive Akatsuki Sasori) and Chiyo should have her slot next to Kimmimaro in the bottom right corner as an Edo, while her alive version is next to Gaara. It makes sense when you think about it.

I have to go back and watch that one ....to see if nagato is counted among them .....I am just suffering from post traumatic storm 2 fail of saying nagato was there and he was a no show....

Also with sasori and chiyo I think its going to be a pleasant surprise playing the game and discovering what they have ....those chars are so mysterious as many are at this point ....plus chars we already saw like darui and hanzo and others ....could have been changed or altered since the last time we have seen them...hmph, just food for thought.

Are we even sure we're getting Edo Kimimaro and Chiyo? They weren't in that trailer. I know it would be silly to leave them out but we haven't gotten any news regarding them.

And Shamefull, I just watched the trailer again myself and counted 5 Akatsuki, Nagato has to be in that count.

Well at the bottom of the roster there is one Sound Village and one Sand. There are three other slots for Sound, which are Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Snake Kabuto, so Kimmimaro would be an obvious for the final Sound slot. Chiyo I'd place right next to him because they've been together for their entire fight in the war.

Don't know about that. I just have a feeling Sasuke vs Danzo and Konan vs Tobi are going to be normal battles, but with cutscenes before and after of course. (sort of like the Killer Bee fragment story in Storm 2)

Which is dissapointing, since I was really looking forward to Konan vs Tobi. Heck, maybe CC2 didn't even bother to change Konan's ougi. I think that's a pretty viable possibility as well.

okay thanks...I went back and checked the trailer a few times ....I do see the first 5 and it looks like nagato is there so I feel a bit better however ...I also noticed the G&S bros were in the trailer as well next to hanzo ....however as of now they are not playable so I guess my concern is will nagato not be playable lol.....

However chars like chiyo and kimimaro are very likely since they were added to generation and kimimaro I expect would just be a costume change and other minor alterations....I agree chiyo is a complete mystery I feel she is in the game but I wonder if she will have new puppets and attacks ....I guess they could change the costume on her and the puppets like with sasori ...I just hope she has two puppets.

But the cutscenes in this game seem to be much more cinematic. i.e Sasuke VS 5 Kage cutscenes we've seen in the trailer, Naruto dodging A.. Naruto speaking with Kushina..

Okay your point about the edo akatsuki cleared some doubts ...since they already have 3 of the 5 then it looks like all 5 are indeed playable.

I really dont have that much doubt concerning the likely hood of the kages being playable because of the importance of those battles as seen in the anime....here is a major clue "garras new ougi" reflects what he recently did to his father in the anime so that is a major clue that the kages are indeed playable ...thanks to garras new spectacular ougi!!!

The G&S were shown in the same scene as the edo akatsuki, edo kages , and hanzo which means they might be playable somehow if they take more than one slot dont know but ...they were in the trailer....The swordsman however were not in the trailer so I always had the suspicion they are not among the chosen to be playable..

tsk...correction the swordsman were in the trailer however they were not in that particular scene as the others such as the edo kages and edo akatsuki!...doubt the swords are getting all those slots and they appear to be the only chars that are boss only.

Yeah i think he is a boss because in one of the trophies its get S rank on "The Agitated Kage Summit" and the character art looks like danzo

I think that the game will end with Naruto breaking Obito's mask. The fragment will obviously be Edo itachi + Sasuke vs Kabuto(Sage Mode). And i think CC2 will release more of the story as DLC in like May or JUne and that will be like Naruto vs 10 Tails and stuff
