My own death doesn't really scare me...how it happens...when, why?

It's the deaths of the people surrounding me that scare me the most.

What do you think about death?

Complete opposite for me.

I've always been terrified of my own death more than anything. And I recognize that people around me will die, and some deaths will not always be pleasant.

To elaborate further, I'm not afraid of death at all, I just don't do well with people leaving me.

But it's never really been a fear of mine to die myself. It happens to everyone, might as well live your life to the fullest instead of worrying about how you're going to die.

Death is that dick of a neighbor that blows leaves into your yard, that Jehova's witness who knocks on your door in the middle of watching the big game, the storm that shuts your electricity off while you're playing PS3. You know your neighbor's a cheeky dickwaffle, you know your neighborhood is notorious for door-to-door evangelists, you saw the weather forecast earlier. But you don't know when it'll hit, or how far you've gotten before the ass that is death barges in and screws up your routine. You can fear the storm and hide from it, bolt your door shut and turn off the lights to escape the witness, or put up a barricade between you and Dinkleberg over there, or you can not let the idea bother you at all. You can put them out of your head or focus solely on them. It's almost always devastating when it hits, but you just have to accept that it's always just there, ya know?

I guess you can say I fear it but when it comes to someone I find dear I will indeed protect them with my life, even if it's death, I don't want anyone dear to me to die.

Couldn't agree more, wouldn't care if I died tomorrow since I consider my life worthless compared to my family.

My one big fear about death is that I'll die before I can make my mark on the world. I want to do something great with my life, something that'll get me put in a textbook somewhere, and I can't let it end before I get there. I'm going into the medical field too, so holding off death's kinda my job

I am admittedly starting to have suicide thoughts because I am continuously getting punished heavily and unnecessarily for my bad school grades.

I hate to say this, but I don't believe you when you say your not scared of your own death, I mean I don't know your life and I don't know what you been through, but until your in a moment where your life is in danger you will know at that moment how you really feel about it then. But like I said I don't know what has happened in your life, so im just kinda talking.

Im scared of losing people around me and Im scared of dying.
