Hinata - confessed her love before nearly dying; the next time she sees Naruto she does WHAT? Right - smiles at him HUGGING Sakura! Also, when was the next time she reminded him about her love? I guess, NOT YET.
Sakura - makes a crystal clear FAKE confession in attempt to stop Naruto from running after Sasuke; while the goal is good on itself, the MEANS are MEAN and strongly hurting his feelings - she was basically taunting and mocking him by it. She could've just simply said: Naruto, I'm too worried about you AS MY CLOSE FRIEND, so please don't endanger yourself too much with Sasuke - which would NOT hurt his feelings, but nearly the opposite - she'd show that she CARES for him and wouldn't LIE so blatantly.
Now, WHO is more selfish and has worse peoples skills???

man most of of narusaku shippers dont even know what there talking about. ive read comments about this 2 pairings and it surprises me how clueless they are about the subject. hinata has never been selfish. the only time she was selfish was when she almost gave her life for trying to rescue naruto from pain.(stated by her on confession) other then that she never interferes like sakura does or rely on naruto from saving her every time theres trouble. sakura always relys on naruto for everything.
sakura is just a burden to naruto. there is no proff that hinata has put naruto in front of her family friends ect. naruto to hinata is just the person she loves and views romantically. he is not hinatas world.

even if hinata and naruto dont happen. to me it will always be clear that hinata was the most deserving of narutos loves.
hinata has always admire and believe in naruto. she event felt in love with him. she has proven her love for naruto to be from her heart as she has risk her life for him multiple times. hinatas love for naruto is pure and not selfish. she always tries to help naruto the most she can when she gets the chances to be around him, she doesnt burden naruto with her problems. and lastly she could make naruto happy.

anyways from what ive read on manga naruto states that he know why he like sakura and the asnwer is the sakura wants to be acknowledge just like him. so you see its a pretty dull love. chapter 3 page 18

Funny, but this was good for PTS Naruto, while becoming quite obsolete for Shippuden.
I mean, he's the LEADER of an ARMY now (at least factually, if not by rank) - what more acknowledgement (apart from being called Hokage, heh) should he need?
And it started exactly after Pain:
He became the Savior (=acknowledged); Hinata confessed loving him; Sakura mocked his love to her; he doesn't need acknowledgement anymore; Sakura is trained under Tsunade, so probably also doesn't need it so much...
=TOTAL: Sakura? Sakura who???
I mean, if the ONLY reason he liked her, was cause they both wanted to be acknowledged - he definitely saw/heard the SAME thing from Hinata (like, vs Neji, plus her confession), so he at least sees them both equal in THAT.
And in time, that very reason gets diminished to nearly nothing, so it can't provide the liking anymore.
So, unless there is some OTHER reason for Naruto to still like Sakura - he simply has no NEED to cling to her.
Now, this doesn't immediately enable NaruHina, but it definitely loosens NaruSaku to the point of nonexistence...
And I DO think that NaruHina IS canon (maybe not OPENLY yet, but definitely in Kishi's mind).

Don't get this part. Sakura should do more than gazing, but everyone was amazed at NH? If I recall Sakura has hardly been shown in the latest chapters. It's little wonder she's not fighting when her job requires her to keep out of danger.

First stare was upon discovering Neji is dead. Sakura isn't the only one staring. Everyone else is. Second stare is when Hinata gives Naruto a speech on what Neji said. Sakura is staring, but again so is everyone else. Can you even say Sakura looked twice? I don't think so. Reread the chapter. The NH moment happened right after the "What? Neji's dead?" moment. Sakura didn't look twice. She just happened to be still looking. Again, you gripe her for doing what everyone else is doing.
And how can you state Sakura hasn't been fighting after that scene if she has not been show since her staring?

Those weren't vital facts. They were based on your own judgement formed from certain scenes in the manga. Sakura lying or knowing Hinata loves Naruto doesn't have a significant impact against NaruSaku because the manga states so, but because you yourself think so.

The problem with comparing the good/bad points of each girl is that Naruto himself does not care to compete the two girls together.

Because Hinata is shown constantly thinking and interacting with Naruto, showing very minimal appearances with others, it gives the impression that Naruto is indeed her world.

@narusaku_kibahina: If you go back to the last page of this thread (page 77) and read my post, I wrote a several-paragraph-long post in support for NaruHina. Some of it did mention Sakura, yes, but much of it didn't. In fact, as I mentioned there, I am a fan of NaruHina, but NOT of SasuSaku; in fact, I don't even like SasuSaku.

Yeah, I understand that if NaruHina happens, SasuSaku will also probably happen. I just mean that I don't like the idea of them ending up together with the personalities they have right now. As they are right now, it's an abusive relationship. But, as long as Sasuke becomes a better person, repents for what he's done, and treats Sakura better, and as long as Sakura takes more control and doesn't act submissive to Sasuke, I'm fine with it.
