Now that I've calmed down and taken a good looks at the cards, it's does seem that they are only showing the hack and slash clips which may suggest they aren't playable.

Although all the Storm Gen cards were either playable or support characters. I seriously dunno man. Why would they make cards of the swordsman in the first place.

Hmm even after all this character discussion im still positive we will have the Edo kages and swordsmen playable.

If they are -not- it means we have 10+ slots to fill with minor characters. I really dont believe we will get 10+ unnecesarry double's or minor characters while leaving those characters out.

To get us hyped but i dont think their gonna be supports

I'm afraid of the while double Choji nonsense. I mean no one is gonna use Choji online and he has the same combos and same ultimate, just a different awakening.

If they make 2 choji's I will shoot somebody.

As i said, all the edo kages, swordsmen, expected characters, they fit in perfectly within this 81 characters slots.

When swordsmen/kages/gin/kin are all not playable that means there are at least 12 more spots to fill with either double's or minor characters. Im simply not believing this.

This is what i -still- believe will be the roster :
(Notice those 80 characters i listed is already including 3 Naruto, 3 Sasuke, 3 Masked Man, 2 Kabuto and Gin/Kin as separate playable characters. I even listed zetsu as playable, but i might be wrong at this one.)

Yeah, remember that for generations we saw a "final" demo without kabutomaru and masked tobi and 2 days later they were included. So maybe we get more characters.

I have info regarding naruto chakra mode, and it seems Naruto-kurama is just an ougi.

Cos they didn't show nothing more than their sons.. as Hiashi.. i don't want to miss a slot for the copies of Shikamaru, Hino, Choji and Neji.. i use these four slot for most important and intresting Character like Pakura, Gari, Omoi and Kitsuchi

In a perfect world we would have like 150 playable characters

But when given a limit of 81 playable characters this is what i would like to see. And i think the dad's didn't do enought to claim 1 of the 81 spots. But did do enough to be a Support character. Ofcourse this is just a matter of opinion.

Altough with this currect character select screen we already have 81 playable characters. So my current list already fits. It's just that the symbols and character placement doesn't match.

Still i can't think of a descent and logic roster of 81 characters when leaving out Edo kages and swordsmen.

Remove Ginkaku/Kinkaku plus the other 6 swordsman and we have 73 slots left. I think it may even be safe to remove Zetsu as well since CC2 always seem to have some kind of personal vendetta against him that they refuse to put him in games. Now that's 72 characters meaning 9 slots left, like you said there is no other logical characters to fill these spots.

Unless cc2 include young Obito and young Kakashi. Then it's possible there are 2 gaaras and 2 choji's . So that's 76 characters now. They could add the sound 4 (since they are apart of the uchiha bros vs kabuto fight) which would be 80 characters and then Anko since she did kindof face off against Kabuto, now we are at 81. As you can see, the characters I named look completely illogical and stupid.

Gari and Pakura are also an option along with Kirotsuchi, Kurenai, Anko and Shizune (she is technically part of the war).

In all honesty if its not Gin/Kin and 7SM then I don't know what cc2 were smoking because there is no other logical choice I could think of.

I still hope for Menma as a surprise character or DLC at least.

Looks like the character art work for him was useless then.
