Saddest thing I ever saw...

So I was watching this show on my satellite tv about animals that do amazing things. And there was this part about these two dogs that ran away from a local animal shelter in Chile. One of them ran onto the freeway and got hit by a car. The other dog saw the accident, and actually came to help the other dog. It even used its own body to shield the injured dog from passing cars. Then it used its two front legs and tried to pull the dog to safety. The injured dog died once the other dog had managed to get him out of traffic.

The roadside crew checked surveillance cameras and witnessed the whole incident on tape. The dog that survived was made into a national hero.

What's sad though is that no one stopped on the freeway when they saw the dog trying to save it's injured friend....such heartless people...

It sucks when stuff like that happens to animals. As for the people who didn't do anything, talk about being selfish.

That's so sad

that dog is so brave, it's really incredible that it went that far for it's friend

Huh...even when I watch a movie I cry more when an animal dies than when a human dies.

When an animal dies, my body cries. It's sad, especially if it was a pet or something, but I don't feel too much of an emotional attachment. This is sad, but not cryworthy to me.

When a person dies, my mind shatters. No crying, maybe tears, but a part of my mind dies for a little while. Days to a week, normally. Then I accept it.
