"Now make a close and personal Mirror Coat"-Julius demanded
*Tentacruel made a bridge of ice towards the enemy with icebeam and Tentacreul charged at the foe with mirror coat. The energy ball was then deflected back at the foe at close range*

*sine the mirror coat reflected a ghost type attack it would be seriously effected*

Umm I know that Venoshock cant poison you. I was talking about the poison snow. I figured you would try to hit me with Shadow Ball.

Tentacruel charged at Mismagius with Magic Coat, deflecting Mismagius's attack. Tentacruel was at such a close distance to Mismagius that Ashley knew she wouldnt be able to dodge. But that's exactly what she wanted. With Tentacruel so close, there would be no way for it to dodge this next attack. And after just deflecting Energy ball, it wouldnt have enough time to deflect both moves. This next move's speed was 1/1000th of a second. "Thunderbolt, Mismagius! Full power!" After getting hit with her own Shadow Ball attack, Mismagius summoned a powerful bolt of thunder down from the heavens, right on the spot where Tentacruel was. "Stop this attack!" Ashley told Julius.

Little fact I learned from Naruto: lightning has the speed of 1/1000th of a second. Especially when it's dropped right on the spot like Mismagius just did.

*with Mirror coat still active it rebelled and got hit with thunderbolt*
(since mismagius got hit by other attacks and was in close range hopefully mismagius would also get caught in the attack and would be finished*

"Tentacreul is unable to battle."-Juan said as Tentacreuel fell into the water with swirls on its eyes

"Mismagius, are you alright?" Ashley asked Mismagius. Mismagius had fought hard, and had taken a powerful hit with Shadow Ball. Not to mention the Venoshock attack. And using that last Thunderbolt attack looked as if it had took a lot out of her. Her body appeared paralyzed from the electricity since she had been at such a close range. "Mismagius, return." Ashley said. Mismagius disappeared within the pokeball, and Ashley knew that she wouldnt be able to fight anymore.

"Mismagius is also unable to battle"-Juan stated fairly

"Anyway here goes"-Julius said as he summoned Swampert

"I am going to finish this quick. Ya see Swampert is not only my strongest but my favorite pokemon as well."-Julius bragged

The referee declared that Ashley's Mismagius was unable to battle, and Julius sent out his next pokemon, Swampert. He told Ashley that Swampert was his strongest and most favorite pokemon. "Thats wonderful" Ashley said. She smiled. She could tell that she would have to be very serious this time if she had any chance at winning.
"Go, Lickilicky!" Ashley sent out her next pokemon, a chubby pink looking creature with a long tongue. "Lets do this, Lickilicky!" Ashley encouraged her partner. "Licky!" Lickilicky replied. "Use Muddy Water, and ride the wave toward Swampert!" Ashley told Lickilicky. He obeyed, creating a huge wall of murky looking water, then rode on top of the humongous wave towards where Swampert was standing on the opposite platform.

"Trying to defeat us with a water type move huh"-Julius laughed "Show it a REAL!!! Water attack use surf!"

*Swampert created a signficantly larger and stronger wave that towered over the foe's wave hoping to wash away the foe*

*As the foe charged down. Kabutos was surronded in water! (AQUA JET). Kabutops time it just right and then blasted towards the foe. At the last second Kabutops moved out of the way with the speed advantage then used a close ranged icebeam on the foe. Kabutops then landed on the platform on the water*

"That's cute, have any REAL tactics?" Pool laughed at his opponent. "Heat Wave" The ice melted. "When will you realize that will never work?" He said. "Now, Superpower AGAIN!" Braviary charged once more and tried to hit Kabutops

"That wasnt what I was hoping for at all." Ashley told Julius. The larger wave broke over the wave that Lickilicky had created, and Ashley decided to initiate her plan. "Lickilicky, now that Swampert is above you, use Power Whip on her from below!" Ashley ordered. Lickilicky unleased a powerful whip-like attack, directing it toward Swampert's stomach.

"Speed up behind it with your superior speed and freeze it from behind."-Julius cheered

"Now slam it onto a platform then used Earth Power"-Julius said
*Swampert summoned earthly power under the ground to rise up like a volcano underneath the foe*

Im very versatile in battle, I want you to know that. And I would rather find a way to beat my opponents no matter what moves they use on me. I dont like whining just because someone used a move that I may or may not be able to counter. But in this case, what you just did works right to my advantage..

After both waves had crashed against the pillars that surrounded the gym, Swampert grabbed Lickilicky by his tongue as he used Power Whip, swinging him around before finally slinging him to the ground. But thanks to Lickilicky's durable body, he was relatively unharmed. Julius then instructed Swampert to use Earth Power. The ground rose up from beneath them as Swampert attempted to use the Earth Power attack. Foolish. Swampert is in the way of that Earth Power attack herself. Although i'm sure Julius intends to tell her to dodge and let the attack hit Lickilicky. Although that wont be happening. Ashley thought to herself confidently. "Lickilicky, Protect!" Ashley ordered Lickilicky. Lickilicky braced himself, while Swampert was still stuck unmoving on the giant crater that was still rising beneath her feet. "Im sure you're wondering why Swampert cannot move." Ashley told Julius. "Lickilicky secretes a toxic substance from his tongue. Any pokemon or person that comes into contact with it will start to go numb. While you were busy slinging Lickilicky around by his tongue like a rope javelin, his saliva was slowly taking effect on Swampert's body. And now you're own move is going to hit yourself!" Ashley said.

"looks like I made a mis calculation"-Julius said un-phased

"CLose range ice beam quick"-Julius yelled

*Swampert fired a fast powerful freezing attack as Swampert's body went numb and let go of the tounge and fell into the water*

(Phew. The water should wash away the sticky substance but Swampert's arms are useless)-Julius thought

(Master Julius still has a LOT to learn. HIs greatest weakenss is his ignorance to other types besides water. He tried to finish it quick and was overconfident. But the outcome will still be the same)-Juan thought

The waves just broke, neither of us got hit with them. Maybe I need to specify that a little better. The wave I used against you was just a decoy. And when you grabbed Lickilicky, I assume that Swampert didnt get hit with the wave himself (and he had ahold of Lickilicky so he would have gotten hit too if it would have hit Lickilicky) therefor the waves just broke and passed underneath us both.

Ashley watched as Julius's Swampert fell into the water, as Lickilicky stood up on his feet. Swampert had managed to use Ice Beam at Lickilicky, and Ashley had to counter quickly. "Lickilicky, use your body and bounce out of the way!" Ashley told her pokemon. Lickilicky barely managed to bounce out of the way, considering his body was almost like a ball. "Now dont give him any time to recover, use all the water in the gym and unleash another Muddy Water attack!" Lickilicky did as instructed, and created a giant wave of water using all of the water in the gym. Swampert was caught up in the wave, and Ashley could tell that now was her chance. "Ok Lickilicky, use Power Whip, full force!" Lickilicky used Power Whip on Swampert as she was still trapped inside the wall of water, and Ashley figured this was it. Swampert's arms were useless now, and she would be unable to grab Lickilicky's tongue again. And even if she could, she would think twice about it.

*Without an order Swampert rode the merky water*

(Muddy water is nothing but helpful. swampert loves this kind of water it does nothing)-Julius thought with a smile

"FREEZE!"-Julius yelled
*Swampert swam at faster rates since the water was muddy. It swam towards the tounge and used icebeam on it then dodged it*

"Keep it up girl!"-Julius cheered
*Swampert swam around the foe at great speed while firing icebeam at the foe*

Julius ordered Swampert to use Ice Beam at Lickilicky's tounge as he attempted to strike with Power Whip. But Ashley wasnt about to let the Ice Beam freeze Lickilicky's tongue. "Lickilicky, counter with a Thunderbolt" Ashley told Lickilicky. The Thunderbolt shot out towards the Ice Beam attack with a lot of speed. Ice was powerful, but as Ashley's Mismagius had demonstrated earlier, there was nothing faster than lightning. Swampert wasnt done yet though, and unleashed a flurry of Ice Beams toward Lickilicky as it swam around him using the water from Lickilicky's Muddy Water attack. Ashley smiled. This was perfect. "Lickilicky, spin and use Thunderbolt!" As Swampert swam around Lickilicky, Lickilicky spun around while releasing Thunderbolt, striking all of Swampert's Ice Beam attacks, cancelling them out. But that wasnt all. The Thunderbolt attacks also struck the water that Swampert was surrounded by, electrifying it, and hopefully paralyzing Swampert. "Swampert may be immune to electricity, but he isnt immune to Paralysis. When are you going to learn that the Muddy Water attacks Lickilicky uses are decoys?" Ashley asked Julius. "I purposely wanted to get Swampert into the Muddy Water attack. That way, Swampert would be subjected easier to paralyzation.'' Ashley explained. "Now, Lickilicky! Use Power Whip on Swampert again!" Lickilicky responded, jumping out of the way of the Muddy Water attack as it enclosed around him. Swampert was now right below him, and Swampert shouldnt be able to dodge now that she was Paralyzed.

Just a little fact: Lickilicky likes to paralyze his opponents. And he has more than one way of achieving that.

*Swampert dodged the Powerwhip with ease*

"I told you not to underestimate us didn't eye. My Swampert does not know the meaning of parlz. ESPECIALLY though electricty. But if that is how you wanna play...FINE! Swampert destroy all the platforms on the water now go"-Julius commanded

*Swampert swam around at fast speeds ramming and kicking to destroy the platforms on the water (the only platforms that were left were the one LIckyLilcky was standing on and the tall platforms*

"Now surf let loose!"-Julius ordered
*Swampert created 3x huge waves on after the other. They towered over the stadium without limits*

(The thunderbolt itself shouldnt be able to do damage to her, but the paralyzing water should be able to paralyze her. Oh well...)

Julius's Swampert dodged the Power Whip attack, and despite the water being electrified, it didnt look like she had been paralyzed. Just then, Julius told Swampert to destroy the platforms in the gym, so that Lickilicky wouldnt have anywhere to stand. "That's not going to work." Ashley stated. "Lickilicky can float in the water very well due to the buoyancy of his big body." Ashley explained. Julius should know that. Sure enough, Lickilicky just bobbed there like a cork. Then, Julius had Swampert use three Surf attacks one after the other, directing them all at Lickilicky. "Alright, Lickilicky, if waves are what he wants, then waves he's gonna get!" Ashley exclaimed to her partner. "Use Muddy Water, with everything you've got!" Ashley told him. Lickilicky did as told, using three gigantic waves one after the other, just as Swampert did. They towered over the gym, matching the height of Swampert's Surf attacks. "Now, ride the last wave!" Ashley ordered. Lickilicky surfed atop the third wave, and all three waves came rushing toward Swampert's Surf attacks. "Now, combine them to create the ultimate wave! Humungadunga!!" Ashley yelled. The wave that Lickilicky was surfing on rolled over top of the previous two waves, merging together to create the largest wave yet. The only other wave that had ever been that big was Humungadunga. The monstrous wave roared toward Swampert's Surf attacks, about to engulf them. On top of the enormous wave was Lickilicky, who was definitely surfing with style. Ai knew that if this wave crashed with Swampert's, the whole gym, including Julius and herself, would be submerged. Ashley didnt have any water breathers, but she didnt care. She was a trainer. And she would take whatever means necessary to win this battle. "Alright, Lickilicky, when the wave hits Swampert's waves, I want you to use Protect and Power Whip at Swampert at the same time! That way, even if Swampert counters, you wont recieve any damage!!" Ashley commanded. Lickilicky did as told, and the gargantuan wave struck Swampert's with devastating force. Ashley knew this had to be it. This move was make it or break it. If Lickilicky didnt hit Swampert, then the whole gym would likely be submerged underwater, and she would drown. But she didnt care. She loved her pokemon more than anyone. And she wasnt about to let them down. Even if it meant risking her own life.

(The water is very merky and Swampert is a ground type. So it is very unlikely to be paralzed though merky water especially if you used a thunder attack. If you used stun spore that would be a different story. Also MY swampert is a WATER type plus Surf is stronger than Muddy water so my waves would be bigger/stronger)

*Swampert glew a light pink outline. As the wave was about to hit Swampert mentally took control of the wave and sent it back at the foe 2x fold.

(Hopefully that should cause the waves to be even bigger and stronger! The water levels should increase drastically)-Julius thought as the water increased so much that their were no platforms left. THe challenger and Julius and Juan's platforms they were on rose up rapidly so that they would not drown

"NOW END THIS!"-Julius yelled
*Swampert swam at great speeds in the new water improved field. He swiftly dodged the power whip and circled around the foe at close range*

"ICEBEAM"-Julius commanded
*As Soon as Protect wore out Swampert let loose a powerful icebeam at the foe multiple times to try and freeze it in a brick of ice layers upon layers*

(That BETTER work. If it uses thunderbolt to try and counter it will electricute itslef. It most likely can not use protect since it just used it. Power whip is a grass move and it would not be effective. The tounge would just freeze. ANd there is so much water around that muddy water is useless. Hopefully the ice attack will hit and Swampert can freeze the foe so that it can no longer battle or break out)-Julius thought

*Also woun't your pokemon be paralzed cuz the water is electrifed???*

*Swampert then swam away as it let loose another icebeam*
