How does society become worse and worse with each generation of children?

All joking aside, I agree. Society's been pretty eff'd up, and it'll keep effin' up and fixing itself forever. Now we've reached a point where people are isolating themselves through technology and becoming individualistic as a result. How technology progresses as well as how people THEMSELVES deal with the new attitudes of society will determine just how and if we change the way we're going right now

Kids have gone soft is my opinion. Crying and self loathing is encouraged and people forgot what discipline is. Say what you want but I would not be anywhere if it was not for my fathers rough "upbringing" . The problems have always been the same, its how we handle them now that has changed.

No, it DOES get worse and worse.
The average age of the first time in alcohol, fights, crimes, sex and what not went DOWN.
I can see it everywhere. I talked to some 14 year old girls once.
They openly told me none of them were a virgin anymore. "Thats so not cool."
When I was their age it was unbelievable to just 'dance' with a guy at school parties.
And yes, I was only 14 when I had my first real (french) kiss.
That said... I was one of the first among the classmates to get kissed!
At age 13 we just looked and dreamed of a boy. Girls now already shared a bed.
That was just a small example.

What I find worse is use of language these days! I really dislike it.
First of all, they can't even properly pronounce and spell things anymore.
Their god damn own language for derp sakes! >_____<
Talk to random teens, even when talking nicely, and they'll swear severely at you.
In the worst case they will threaten you, or seriously try to kick/hit you.
I even had some kid to spit on me and tons of others trying to spit on me.
Or you walk by and they call you the h-word. Very disrespectful towards a woman.
Whenever that happens I'll just say:
Go to school, get a job, because you are obviously too dumb to even afford one, kid.

Psshh. Sometimes I want to strangle one. For real.

What is socially acceptable and unacceptable changes with generations. Which is why what you perceive as complete douchebaggery and hoarishness, isn't anything but the norm for them.

As technology becomes better suited to do things for us, we lose the ability to do them. Do you still know how to track down a deer, kill it with a bow and arrow, skin it, and cook it? Of course not. Few people do. Because we don't HAVE to.

Swearing is becoming socially acceptable. To you, it may be rude, but to them, and their peers, it's nothing besides the norm. Hell, I'll curse. But it's all inflection anyhow. If they say it to you rudely, it's rude. *shrugs*

On the otherhand, violence is completely unacceptable, and I wouldn't take their actions for the actions of an entire generation of people.

tl;dr Society changes. Generations change. Ideals change. It happens. To call it downhill is simply the rejection of change. What is practical and ideologically correct to your generation does not apply to others a lot of the time.
