If the 7 blue boxes are Supports, and the shiny one is not a character that would make only 80 remaining slots. We were promised 80+ so also this theory doesn't fit...

While its true she hasn't fought in Shippuden, she has been shown before. Particularly when Asuma ends up dead. So technically, she has appeared in Shippuden, but I know I'm grasping at straws haha.

Besides, I think I'd rather prefer Anko or Shizune, especially Shizune. Medical Ninja are my favorite, with Kabuto (normal form) at the top. Speaking of which, I really wish we could get his PTS costume. I prefer him with his gloves and headband on :/

But if Kurenai is in, then Anko and Shizune will be as well. But personally i won't bet the house on it.

While I normally would've checked the interview myself again, it isn't in the updates and I don't want to go looking on previous pages, but I think the interview mentioned 80+ playable characters AS WELL AS a ton of support. Unless you mean like repeats, like multiple Naruto's?

In generations they confirmed 70+ characters and we got 72 slots. Im pretty sure when they announe 80+ characters we will get at least 81 slots.

But i agree, not a single theory about Supports or the select screen is waterproof just yet
It can even end up this isn't the final version of the select screen.

yeah i mean repeats, characters with a separate ultimate jutsu switch etc wasnt there something like this in the storm 2 roster having something count towards the character count...im not sure though..i remain wary

I thought about that as well haha. I "skinny version" of him or something as a separate character. But that's probably not it. Still it's strange...

I really really hope they brought back the customization of jutsu and added ultimate jutsu. I mean, that could potentially add DLC jutsu to DLC we could get. I mean, some characters have a lot while others have a little. Kakashi himself is the copycat ninja. I remember in the first game he had like three or four different jutsu to choose from.

Oh! And I just realized...I remembered the first storm game had supports do a combo if you wanted. I think they added that back into the game through those additional support combos.

yeah, its suna symbol, chiyo I suppose too..
