Well, if the government comes out and says there is no One Piece, what pirate is going to listen? On the other hand, if they have One Piece, they won't want pirates to know it exists.

I thought One Piece diamonds don't follow real world laws because Jozu didn't break easily at all, but I suppose that could be attributed to his DF alone, but still.

I get the feeling one piece is more of a symbol than an actual reward, more of a legacy if anything. I know it could be the poneglyph or just a big stash of gold,but honestly it seems more like myth.

After all whitebeard who didn't even know if one piece existed proclaimed it was real before his death. That last cry reinvigorated the pirates on a similar level to the man on top of the last era, roger.

I don't believe Oda would do that because he knows it would upset quite a number of his fans.

That's the beauty of one piece currently. It could be treasure and no one would be the wiser because everyone expects it to be something much much more. Oda could in fact be the most clever mofo simply by taking the simplest route

I don't think that Oda could upset his fans. He's a good writer and I'm pretty sure turning One Piece into a symbol would break people down into tears yet again, in a good way.

Are you sure that Kizaru doesn't just have a range when traveling at lightspeed? Like he can only move where he can see?
