So it's not hard to imagine why the strongest pirates in the world don't try to take one piece(namely the emperors). They have everything you could ever want in life and part of their reign lies within the legend of one piece. Yet the world government strives to destroy the pirate age and the best way I could think of is to shatter the dream.

Why not send kizaru over and end it? He was shown to be levitate or something, plus he's lightspeed

Someone like him could easily waltz over to raftel with the type of information network the marines have and just end it...

It ain't that easy to reach Raftel...you need a good ship, like Gol D. Roger had. That's the final island in Grand Line.
One Piece is probably some kind of knowledge.

There is a possibility that the world government knows where one piece is but they can't 'possess it' or something like that. Having said that though, in the translated manga Gol D Roger says ' My hidden treasure? if you want it, it's yours'.
I have always thought that Gol D Roger had some other motive for what he said during his execution.

I know what the One Piece is.

The One Piece is the final poneglyph which rests at the bottom of the All Blue which require an amazing ship to reach. To get to it though, you have to face challenges. You have to be able to cut through diamonds. You have to be able to snipe invisible switches from long distances. You have to be able to navigate through Raftel. You have to be able to read musical notes to play a song. You have to be able to search through a selection of crops to figure out which ones are not poisonous. Finally, you have to be able to swing through a room which has no vines, just a large pit and a the roof of a cave. Only then can one open the final door which requires haki to break through. At that point, you then have to fight the government dogs.

That sounds amazing and true,but sadly diamond is not a good idea for an obstacle. It's actually a fragile substance in reality. xD

I do honestly believe that some of the bigger dogs in the government at least know what the One Piece is.

I'd imagine One Piece to not be just hanging out for anyone to reach once they get there. That said there would likely be quite the amount of challenges for Kizaru alone, Pirate King level challenges at that. Kizaru could fly there, but only by himself.

Edit: Plus he could fly at the speed of light right into a tsunami or other giant wave that the Grand Line is known for having, then...water.
