^I found the designs in the B/W to be at least half-decent and the gameplay to be the best in the series.

Me too. I didn't like Sinnoh very much, but Unova was great for me.

I didn't even think Garbodor was too bad... I never though Vanilluxe was good though. That one seemed dumb, but Garbodor is basically a Muk who didn't go outside naked. *Fact*

To be honest, I'm liking these starters more than I initially did compared to the Unova ones (but now Emboar is one of my favorite starters, so).

Fennekin is my least favorite but I think I might like Chespin the most, which is good because I need another favorite Grass starter (Blastoise, Meganium, Blaziken, Empoleon, and Emboar). BUT I am not going to finalize my opinions about anything from the games until we get more information, like the starters' typings and evolutions. Otherwise I'll just be disappointed.

Im goin with the frog guy. I hope he isn't too terrible for the main game, or metagame. Gah so many thoughts in my head right now about this. I hope there is customization, and I really hope that it shows online, to give each person their own unique look.
I also hope, and this seems to be the case, that previous gen pokemon are in the wild. Really hated that in Black and White, considering you couldnt encounter them in until post-game. Speaking of, I really hope they have a wider post-game than Black and White :/. I hope the Battle Frontier returns. That was my favorite part about Heart Gold and Soul Silver. I spent hours in the battle castle, and battle tower. This one should also have more of a story. I realize Black and White had one, but it was still very weak. Do a Pokemon adventures esque story. Also, I kind of, sort of, dont wan this one to be as linear. Make it so where you have more of a choice which gyms you can tackle first.

My favorite starters were almost the same as yours. Except I liked Torterra because of its dual grass/ground type matchup and Sceptile because Sceptile is just awesome. ^^ I hope the new starters have good type matching like in sinnoh.

I see. I somewhat feel your pain man. I can't find a job for the life of me, and all I can really do is babysit, which doesn't pay much at all. Still better than nothing.
