Impressions of the Entire "Chikara" Arc

So yeah, "Chikara" ended last Thursday, and I gotta say... the whole thing was ROCKIN from beginning to end! The animation quality was lovely, the storyline was solid and interesting, it had some pretty good twists in the middle, and exceptionally awesome fight sequences. It also introduced some new music to Shippuden. I thought it was well done, almost like an 6-part movie. I recommend it HIGHLY to anyone who thinks "aw, fillers SUCK" or at least if you haven't gotten around to watching it.

But I do have 2 complaints about the conclusion (as epic as it was): (1) Disonasu, the villain is swatted away and isn't heard or seen again. We didn't get to see, or at least weren't told, what the supposed "power" he lost was. That's a little more forgivable, but we didn't have closure as to whether he was arrested or dead, either. (2) The departure from the arc-exclusive heroes didn't feel complete. Even if they only offered another minute or 2 to wrap it up, it probably would have been more satisfying.

So what do you guys think of the arc? Was it good? Wasn't it? Did it do justice to the 500 episode celebration? Go wild, guys!

Hm. Haven't watched the final episode yet, but I really love it so far. Felt like it could actually be a movie.
I'll give more feedback after I have finally finished the final ep.

The best filler so far! My favorite of the six was the final one, episode 295. Now I can't wait for episode 296!

Just finished it.
It was an amazing arc, with many touching moments.
Especially with the kids, and the whole family concept.
What kinda bugged me was that Shiseru and Dokku wanted to get married...
Other than that, I really enjoyed the scenes where Kakashi and Yamato were in the same pic. Screenshots~
And the many surprised reaction really got me all excited. Hehe~

Mina is just an amazing kid. Being able to connect to one's heart and help Naruto.

Loved the Chikara arc!

I was skeptical at first because I barely like any Naruto filler, but this is a must see one! The animation was amazing and the story was good too.

I actually liked the forms that Naruto's nine tailed chakra took especially his pure hearted giant nine tailed form and him flickering on and off with the kyubi charkra mode was pretty cool and how he caught the lady at the same time that the tear was falling really added an awwwwwsnnnaaaaaapppp moment all in all I really like this better than the other fillers

Yeah, that was awesome. Even though Naruto's already obtained that power during the war, having Naruto flicker like that gave a nice "this is what will come" kinda feeling. Not quite complete yet, but suggesting that it would be soon. It was nice to see a bit more Hidan too, even though I wish he had more screen time

You mean brother and sister? I'm with ya, but they were terms of affection, not actual blood relation lol. Y'know, it's like "I consider you my brother" kinda thing.
