Everybody talked about Naruto in school back in 05, started watching got hooked. Watched up until the introduction of Itachi stopped watching for a few years...went back into it caught up and switched to Japanese Sub instead of English dub for Shippuden (they take forever to post English dub seasons and the dub voices are much worse in Shippuden in my opinion)

It was a break from school and I had nothing to do. At the time, I was only watching detective Conan so I thought about another one. I chose Naruto and became a fan since the Chunnin exam arc.

i started on november 2012 i liked it.
then i got addicted to it because of naruhina. but specially cuz of hinata.
watch the whole series online and read the manga aswell.

I started watching Naruto back when I just started 8th grade (Toonami 2005); after the first three episodes, I fell in love with the series. I remember I had a crush on Sasuke in the beginning (I don't know why I did *smacks self*), but after the Chunin exam arc, Naruto captured my heart the most and I've been in love with him since then.

I'm now a junior in college and I still love the series no matter how much hate it gets from other people who thinks it's overrated, it has too many fillers, etc. The series help me changed from a low-self esteemed crybaby into a cheerful and proud young woman.

I like to watch Naruto in both sub and dub; the voice actors are talented in their own unique way.

P.S.
Whoever Naruto ends up with, I don't care because I will always love him (In my imagination, I consider him MINE!!! X]). Kufufufu.

I walked in the room when my second oldest brother was watching it on CN here and I just decided to watch it to, to see what it's about, I was not straight off interested but, fascinated by it so continued to watch it to see if it got any better. Since it was only near the beginning when Naruto was painting over the village and getting chased up.

My friend told me about naruto about 4 years ago, i watched the original series for awhile and then got bored.. and a month ago i was really bored, then i started to read the manga and got addicted until now

My best friends showed it to me quite a few years ago. It was on Cartoon Network, and I remember the exact episode. It was the one when Sasuke and Gaara fought in the Chunin Exams. After that, I was totally hooked!

I thought it looked dumb at first, but, one day (I was nine or ten) I decided to watch Naruto since I was bored and the Hinata vs Neji fight was on and it was freaking brutal lol, I always loved dragon ball Z but this seemed even more violent then that cuz she kept caughing up blood so I kept going back and watching it, by the Naruto vs Gaara fight, it was my favorite show and i realized it had an amazing story

I was over at a friends house and it was back when Toonami was still on at night on Cartoon Network. I started watching it and that's how I got tied up into the Naruto universe.

Oh, that's a good question. My brother used to watch it a lot when I was younger with the volume like all the way up, busting both my and his eardrums, even though I was in my room with a closed door.

I wasn't particularily interested in all, since it was all in japanese and they wore silly headbands and everyone had ugly hair. But later I decided that I would give it a shot and started watching it online ALL THE TIME. I didn't fall in love with it until the Zabuza and Haku storyline, though. I mean, that is amazing, I still hold on to that that arc is the best story ever told in television.

I hated Naruto because of a really annoying dub outro saying "Naruuutooo" repetitively and I only saw it as stupid ninjas jumping through forests.

Then I played a Storm game at a friends house and thought some of the characters looked cool. I realised it had an emotional story that made sense unlike DBZ. I gave it a shot, fell in love with Team 7. Fell in love with Zabuza and Haku. Fell in love with Orochimaru and Itachi. Fell in love with the mysterious Akatsuki e_e
