Not exactly a pickup line but more of a joke you would use to really make someone laugh when you don't know them well regardless of gender.

I don't really tell jokes.

I prefer the inside joke approach more than pick up lines/"real" jokes. I'm not good at pulling jokes out of thin air, I like to work with what I'm given. I can't say anything funny unless something happens that triggers something funny in my brain.

I think you are the only one who does this. When I meet someone, I am super nervous, and the last thing I want to do is embarrass myself with a joke. I do that enough with my friends already.

I am actually quite a funny person so I always break the mood with a few jokes with anyone really, As for what I use well I just make jokes up on the spot raither than think about it, but towards the end of the year anything with jimmy savile was usually gold.
