I was pretty angry soon as it switched back to the Juubi fight. I've been getting more antsy about what Sasuke & co. have going on with that scroll and such. I did expect the chakra-sharing eventually since Kurama said he'd teach Naruto how to do it later, but I'm not sure exactly what they achieved other than CCing Juubi for a few pages.

Look at Madara....over there like this , amused by all these silly little jutsu tactics. That guy has some serious pain planned out, he's just sitting back having fun for now, waiting for Obito to mess up.

I kind of felt like the flashback was a little bit of a waste of time since it didn't really elaborate on the actual strategy, but that's cool. Madara will just interrupt w/e they're planning to do since Obito probably won't be able to stop them himself.

Looks like Naruto will put another crack in Obito's resolve.

I expect Madara to take full control of the situation within the next 3-4 chapters.

Heh it was much differen't then what I expected though it was still pretty good. I thought Naruto and Hinata would be holding hands the whole time though it was cool seeing Naruto give everyone his chakura and Hinata did look kick ass with it.

I'm still not even sure WHO said the holding hands thingy.
Anyways, she was the first to get the boost (Sakura wasn't even SEEN yet) and she was praised by her father AND the Big Bad.
The last one caused me to really smile.
Also, this isn't the last chapter, you know.
I do predict some heavy action from Gai/Lee vs Madara, while others back them up, including now-ranged Hinata.
I'm not against Sakura "Gohan-punching" Juubi, but I think this rather fits Naruto OR Gai/Lee.
Or Hinata, of course, since she's a taijutsu-user too.
I doubt though, that Kiba or Shino or Tenten can do anything spectacular, not exactly their fighting style vs Juubi...
In any case...
The upcoming chapters are tingling my curiosity even more now.

Yeah I can see Naruto, Hinata, Guy and Lee doing some kick ass stuff the next few chapters at least. And it looks like Sasuke, Orochimaru and the others have finally made it to the Leaf Village though it looks like they left it soon after at first I thought that was where they were going heh guess not though it does look like they will see the person they are looking for soon. I get the feeling this war will be done in a few more chapters.

I saw Sakura last chapter (not that she DID anything, hehe), but when was Shino last seen?
Or maybe I didn't recognize him, due to pretty typical clothes (plus black-white manga to blur his glasses).
Anyways, I don't see him being able to do anything, cause his bugs are unfortunately pretty useless against such monster like Juubi.
Kiba could try mauling an Uchiha (though pretty pointless too), but Shino is mostly a tracker, not an attacker.
Um, Tenten... might be doing some distraction with her huge weapon pool.
Still, Sakura (the Puncher) is the funniest - for now.
I won't mind if she punches an Uchiha though.
(And if that's Sasuke - she'd win the Oscar. )

*sigh* As much of an absurd long shot as it would have been, I honestly was hoping for something akin to the Sekiha Tenkyoken from G Gundam... Oh well, it is the middle of a climatic battle, we can't expect the love triange to get fully resolved right now.

So it looks like Sasuke is back in Konoha, which will probably be at bare bones manpower. So we might see Konohamaru and his pals, plus Karin who should be conveniently making her escape by now.

I assume Karin will be pretty mad at Sasuke, and it will be interesting to see how she influences Suigetsu and Juugo. Although I don't think the three of them stand any chance against Sasuke if they decide to fight.

The travel time involved here is really starting to bug me... it should have taken Sasuke several days to reach Konoha... but I guess we are moving at the speed of plot right now.

As for the "spread the chakra" plan, I saw a few people predict it during the break. On the surface it is a decent plan, but we all know it is doomed to fail once the Juubi hits its next more monsterous form... and if Kishi stays true to doing a DBZ homage it will have a final human sized form.

I really wasn't expecting Hinata to gain such a blatant Kyuubi cloak, complete with clawed chakra hands. Still, being able to completely overpower a Juubi tail with an air palm like that was impressive. I just have to wonder how long this power up will last, considering she is using a fraction of somebody elses power... I also wonder how long Naruto will be able to keep this up with him giving out chakra like this (likeliest answer is that he will be able to do it for as long as the plot demands).

Choji getting plump again seems a little weird too...

Overall I have a hard time getting invested in this battle plan as it obviously not going to be enough, and Naruto will have to do some solo heroics.

That was a very enjoyable chapter in my opinion. It had quite a bit of action from the war, and some "camera time" for a number of characters. I had heard rumours that this chapter wouldn't be out until the 23rd of January, but thank god that was wrong!

First page got straight to sasuke and orochimaru, something I actually didn't quite like about this chapter. They only had one page of viewing time for them, and in my opinion wasn't even worth it. I suppose Kishi is doing this to annoy the hell out of us hehe! Who could this chakra be coming from? The great snake sage, or could it be another Uchiha??

Second page onwards was great! Almost every shot of madara shows him with a smile on his face. He's clearly enjoying this show and not taking it very seriously. Obito seems to be struggling and is trying to put down the allied shinobi force's confidence with his "TNJ." I liked the way naruto was very quick at learning how to disperse the nine-tails' chakra (despite shikaku's help), and his idea to do this to everyone was very unexpected (well done kishi!). Now I wonder how powerful everyone actually is with the nine-tails shroud. Maybe it's like how naruto was in his fight against sasuke in part 1, taking into account that naruto wasn't that strong back then, so I'm expecting a bit more power from hinata/choji etc. What was that jutsu Hinata used? Was it just a more powerful air palm? Ino showed great speed in using her mind transfer jutsu also, even Naruto was impressed! She sure is getting strong. I liked the bit when the dads talk to the children. Despite what was coming, they managed to give them enough confidence to battle on, before their untimely deaths. Curious to know what shikaku is hiding on Yoshino though...
I wonder actually how Ino's mind transfer was stronger than madara and obito's link with the Juubi. I expected it to fail. I doubt it's solely to do with being shrouded in nine-tails chakra. Some fine words at the end by Naruto, can't wait for the next chapter!!

To those who are complaining about not seeing Sakura at all, she wasn't part of the first stage of this plan... mainly the ino-shika-cho trio are. She's a medical-nin and is probably treating people in the background

Heard a few people saying that Sakura should've had some on-screen time, but I'd have to agree with you. Keep Sakura OUT OF THIS for the moment! She's only taking up space.. Although surely she has to have some involvement in the story once Sasuke arrives on the battlefield.

I do think its good Sakura is out of it so Hinata and the others get more time in battle. She can have all that once they deal with Sasuke since she does still love him.

I'm still kind of scared of Oro like Suigetsu is cause he still wants Sasuke's "body".

Anyway when Sasuke arrives I want him and Sakura to have screen time together even if it's bad or good!!
I'd laugh if Sasuke just all of a sudden saves Naruto in some perspective moment.

The only thing I really wanna see now is:
• Hinata kick ass
• Lee and Gai kicking ass as well as mourning (+TenTen)
• The plan
• Sasuke showing up to save the day
• And another death
