Im fine with it as long as it doesnt take an extreme amount of time or something.

Now that i think about it what does an avarage forum day in the life a mod look like?

no need to feel guilty fairie..you made a judgment call on your own health and they listened to you, which is a rare thing or at least it was when I was in high school (to the point where i remember a student collapsing in class from pain because the teacher didn't believe her) and now you have hindsight for the next time this comes up

Nah, it's a volunteer type thing. No hours. I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in keeping that Naruto tier up to date and you're pretty on top of it. The BG council all agree that you're probably one of the better minds in here despite you being new so we're considering giving you a shot. Just wanted to let you know in advance, although we're not making any promises yet. I'm personally not sure if we've got the approval of higher ups yet.

As for an average day, not much different. You get access to a private staff only chatbox, a bunch of staff only sections, and you just kind of deal with forum affairs. It's kind of boring, but it's a good pass time. It enables you to get a lot of things done and it's just a fun little hobby. Although sometimes it crosses the border over from fun to work. That's very infrequent. And personally, I think it gives me a better business outlook on the world before I go into law school and business school (I plan to do these both). Not everything is a democratic process and I think this helps me learn to cope with that. I try to take everything as a learning process, though. xD

I never went, but I like to stay on top of my work, so I might as well have.

I've modded 4 sites before and honestly its not that different from being a normal user besides editing, deleting, moving, closing, and opening threads.

Don't know how it is here and what powers a mod has though.......

modding the BG's takes a certain type of poster, he needs to be able to recognize bull crap arguments even if he doesn't know much about the fiction being debated. He needs to have a problem with people being dishonest and he needs to not shirk away from calling down the thunder when dealing with certain trolls.

And he needs to know when to give the members slack and when to reign in their antics

Shika is a section head..in "rank" he's by no means a standard mod..the guy is occupying TBC's old spot with me taking Woosters

by actual mod powers he's a generic mod but ask any staffer who's a mongoose who they answer too

@Wishful: Not exactly, but being similar to IWD wouldin't hurt

I for example am fairly well rounded knowledge wise and know for certain that Magneto can easily make Madara forget how to breath or just mess with the electro magnetic spectrum so that Madara flies in the atmosphere forever lost in the abyss of space.

Or that he can control more then just Metal

Despite what IWD said about having to be able to discern what is bull**** and what isin't regardless of the knowledge they have on certain things it doesin't hurt to know a lot and know for certain that something is bull****)

More so a BG mod would need conviction and needs to do what needs to be done regardless. Let one pass multiple times and it invites others of the same caliber.
