Gaara was attacked only six times

Why not more...? Why did Kishi state that it was only six times? But earlier in the manga Gaara stated that his father had tried to kill him "countless" times. The assassination attempts also stopped at around the time of the Chunin exams. But according to cannon started again sometime afterwards. (Like in the Gaara's Bond episode) Well here is my theory, to be vague: Gaara had six birthdays up from the time Yashamaru attacked him until the Chunin exams. The same number of times assassination attempts were launched on him. Does that mean that they tried to kill him each year on his birthday? But why would they try to kill him then? Well Gaara was told that he was born a monster, and took the life of his mother on that day. Not to mention he thought she cursed his very existence on that day, and named him Gaara. And I have looked it up before and apparently there is a full moon sometimes on January 19th. We all know that Gaara used to lose control on full moons. It was obviously his father that launched those assassination attempts, and they were most likely just tests to see if Gaara had better control over his biju. So that also gives the fourth kazekage a reason to attack him on the day of his birth. Because that is the day he would have been most unstable.

But Gaara would have been able to keep up with only six assassination attempts. So why did he say that his father had tried to kill him more times than that? Well there were obviously more assassination attempts made on Gaara than just 6. But if his father only launched 6, one every year as a test, then who launched the other ones? The council. They despised Gaara and wanted him dead. Now, Gaara didnt know or care who wanted him dead back when he was younger. He just assumed that his father, as Kazekage, was ordering the attacks himself, probably. When im sure later on, once his father was killed, he figured it out that it wasnt just his father who had wanted him dead. It was the village council who were behind it.

Suna's kazekage has access to all the mission files of every shinobi. So when Gaara became Kazekage he was probably curious as to whether his father had actually been involved with ANY of the assassination attempts when he was younger. And then, he probably discovered that he was behind six of them.

Iv thought about this hard, and I wanted to have a reasonable explanation as to why Kishi changed how many times it was that Gaara was attacked. This is what I came up with. I hope this makes sense. I thought at first that maybe Kishi realized that so many assassination attempts couldnt have been launched on Gaara when the sand village were already so low on money and shinobi. But then I figured out that there must have been other reasons.

Wouldnt it be pretty messed up if he was attacked every year on the same day as the day Yashamaru attacked him? Because he would probably lose control on that night every year, and would pose a threat to the village. Then they would try to kill him. But there's also the possibility that he was attacked every year on his birthday. I'v actually wondered about that. Because he was six when he was attacked the first time. And the assassinations stopped when he was twelve. He had five more birthdays after he was attacked the first time. So in total that adds up to six. But why would they attack him on his birthday? Well its true that Gaara thought that his mother cursed him on the day of his birth. So that is a very good reason why he would lose control on that night. My thought is that he only tried to kill him 6 times cause
The more hatred and growth gaara happen to gather
The more stronger he got
The more of his father feared him and hated him
Of course he wouldn't attack him more
After the incident with gaara's uncle
