LF Sparring Match: Makuto Momoto vs Avarizia Gamblett

Battlefield: Oro Arena (within Luxuria Falcon Guild Headquarters)
Distance: 150 yards
Description: A dueling arena with gaudy gold Lacrima orbs functioning as lights, knight's armors complete with swords are lined up along the walls. A large wooden door serves as the only entrance and exit.


Avarizia entered the Arena surveying the armors adorning the wall. He came to a stop at the furthest end of the room. Avarizia stood awaiting his opponent, "Let's see what you can do.....and how well made this room really is, I paid quite a deal for it." taking off his glasses and cleaning them with a cloth before returning them to his face.

I enter the arena as i walked up to my opponet. "Alright,which of us should go first?"

Thinking for a moment Avarizia spoke "Hmm... since you're the challenger, you can go first."

"Ok." I jumped back a few meters as i closed my eyes. I stood there for 10 seconds as i suddenly jumped high into the air and pulled my sword out of my sheath. I then pointed it at Avariza like a gun."lightning magic:lightning bullets." The bullets were shot at Avariza at the speed of lightning as i landed on the ground and spun around as water surrounded me. "Water magic:spinning drop." The water around me shoots upward as it dashes down on Avariza like a rain drop. "Water magic:increased tempeture." The water boils and turns into steam just before it is about to hit Avariza. "Heat magic:Hot steam." The steam gets so hot,it will completely burn the skin off of Avariza as it surrounds him and homes in on the heat inside his body.

Avarizia noticed Makuto jumping in the air and pointing a sword, charging. He knew it had to be a projectile, he shouted "Light Pillar" and a platform of light appeared in an area under his feet which rose, becoming a pillar of light that brought him to greater heights , dodging the blasts.

Soon, Makuto shot a blast of water skyward "Uh oh that's no good" he promptly cancelled the Light Pillar and the light dissipated into sparkling dust, falling downward until he reached the ground and called out "Light Dome" and a barrier of Light appeared in an area around him shielding him from the water which turned to scorching hot steam. "Well, I didn't expect steam, but luckily light can't be burned, so a spell simply for burning won't work." Light Dome then extended outward quickly, pushing the steam away, before dispersing into shimmering dust as well.

Avarizia then used Telekinesis Magic to pull a sword from one of the suits of armor and sent it soaring at Makuto. "Don't get hurt now, I would be cross with myself if I hurt someone so young too badly." Avarizia stated as he adjusted his glasses and raised his right arm forward and casting "Chains of Light" forming two chains of bright gold light in front of Avarizia from his Magic Seal. The Chains lunged at Makuto and with a closed hand movement from Avarizia the Chains of Light tried to wrap around Makuto's arms.

Avarizia began to hum a lighthearted tune once his assault ended, tapping his feet to the beat.

A different kind of light I suppose, considering that some Light Magic has physical force so...yeah

As one of the swords was sended at me,i was shocked in excitement. "This is cool!" I take my sword and swing it at the sword heading for me,knocking it away as i walk over to it and touch it. "Heat magic,melting metal." The sword completely melts into liquid as it proceeds to melt into gas and fade away. Then,chains of light then pursue me. "Hahahaha. I'm enjoying this." Water begins to spin around me. "Water magic:freezing reflection." The water around me freezes as the light hits the ice and disperses. Then,chains of ice lunge at Avariza. "Water magic:Rain." I send a giant wave of water into the sky as it begins to covert into rain drops and rain down on Avariza. "Lightning magic:electrifying water." The rain drops are electrified as they rain down on Avariza,attempting to electrify Avariza.

Avarizia saw the young Mage enjoying the sparring, he was thoroughly confused. Makuto activated Water Magic and created a wall Ice stopping the constricting chain. Then Makuto launched chains of his own at Avarizia, chains of Ice. Avarizia held his glasses with his right hand as if adjusting them using "Glittering Eyes" and from his eyes two searing hot beams of Light quickly speed at the two chains in his sight, making quick work of the Ice chains with a glare by melting and slicing through them and a the floor beneath.

Makuto then launches a wave of water in the air with a spell. The wave begins to rain down toward Avarizia "Oh no, I am not getting wet today" he spoke before raising his right arm, activating his Telekinesis Magic to collect the soon electrified raindrops into a single large orb. Avarizia quickly launched the ball of electrified water back at Makuto.

"How can you find something so unprofitable to be fun?" Avarizia wondered aloud

Avarizia soon assaulted with a spell of his own. He raised his right arm and cast "Glittering Gold" creating a dozen coins made of light which floated in mid-air for a moment, glowing brighter as they grew in heat, before he launched them at Makuto.

"WOW!!!!!!!!!!" The rain drops formed into a ball of electried water as Avariza sended it at me. "Heat magic:Heat sheild." A sheild of heat appears in front of me as it burns away the water. I then take the remaining electricity from the water and shoot it into the sky,getting rid of it. "It's fun because you don't have to worry about anything. If you have to worry about the money,it's not fun. When you are fighting,you forget about all your problems." Coins are created as Avariza uses a spell. He then sends the coins at me as they shine in intense heat. "Heat magic:heat extraction." I extract the heat from the coins,making them made of nothing. (Sense light gives off heat,if you take it away,there is no light, Correct me if i'm wrong.) "Do you have another type of magic?"

"Water magic:Great gyser. Heat magic:rising scorcher. Lightning magic: Desending zeus."
A wave of water shoots up from below Avariza as it turns into steam,attempting to burn off Avariza's skin as it becomes harder to see things. Then,lightning strikes from above,attempting to shock Avariza to death.

Avarizia notices the young Mage blocking his techniques with Heat, Lightning and Water magic and raises his eyebrows "Hm, very good then" he speaks as he sees water form once more.

The water forms beneath Avarizia and he hops forward creating another "Light Pillar" though this one did not raise as high and he jumped forward, avoiding the steam. "Well, I shouldn't be boring now should I?" Avarizia spoke questioningly. Suddenly, lightning fell down from around the ceiling towards Avarizia. Avarizia cast "Light Boxing: Jab" surrounding his left fist in a glowing light orb while he swiftly jabbed the bolt. Lightning crackled, zapping his left forearm a bit.

Avarizia then put his left hand in his pocket, and held his right outward in a fighting stance. He charge Light Magic in his right hand and casted another spell "Valuable Treasure" and this time 6 gold bars made of light circled Avarizia rapidly before launching off one by one at high speed. The gold bars of light made by this spell would not burn, instead they would harm the opponent with crushing force alone.

Avarizia then covered his right hand in an orb of light with his left still in his pocket. "Golden Glove"

"Well, that's an interesting way of thinking. You may be good for us, Maku." Avarizia said, suddenly composing a nickname.

As avariza punched the lightning away,i was again,shocked in excitment. "Awesome!" He then sent 6 gold bars of light at me. "That's cool. BUt. Lightning magic:lightning body." My body turns completely into lightning as i dash pass the blocks,dodging them as they hit the ground. I then transform out of lightning form as i reach Avariza. "Heat magic: Dangerous transfer." I attempt to punch Avariza's chest as my fist is covered in intense heat as the heat in Avariza's chest begins to pull towards my fist,attempting to burn Avariza's chest from both sides. My fist will extract any type of heat from any light it encounters. "A nickname. Awesome!!! I have to think of one for you!"

Makuto speeds out of the way of the bars of light, turning into pure lightning. Avarizia took mental note of the potential of his varying Magic types. It didn't take long for Makuto to reach Avarizia, using the very heat in Avarizia's body to pull him into a strike of scorching heat.

Avarizia, taking notes on Makuto's Magic, noticed his great control of heat, he could reduce Avarizia's lasers and burning constructs to simple rays in moments and turn a torrent of water into a scalding wave of steam. He used this to formulate his attack.

Pulling out his left hand once more he swiftly moved himself with Telekinesis Magic. He pushed his own body to his right to avoid the punch, while delivering one of his own with his enchanted right fist. Now in side stance as he swung he spoke aloud "Light Boxing: Cross Counter" aiming for an opening near his stomach to try to knock the wind out of Makuto.

"Ah right, I almost forgot to answer you before. Light Magic is pretty much my only Magic suitable for a strong offense....That said I do enjoy it. I pay-in this case my own magical power-and in return I get everything I want. Isn't it wonderful?" Avarizia said, having spoken that same line so many times he no longer expected an answer

(light is another form of heat. You can use lasers,or try to blind your opponet. Having mirror magic works well with it.) I'll counter tonight.

"Hmm ok." As Avariza trys to hit me with his enchanted fist,i quickly concentrate. "Water magic:water body." My body transforms into water as it drops on the ground,dodging the attack as he hits plain water. Then he tries to hit me again as quickly extract the heat from the light of his fist. I then form into my normal body,while still keeping my water properties as his fist hits me in my water stomech,traping his fist in my water stomech. "heat magic:absorbing heat." A orb of heat appears over me and Avariza as it will absorb any type of heat in a 3 meter radius. "Lightning magic:electrifying touch." My body becomes electrified as i try to shock Avariza to death as his fist is still traped in my stomech. "I don't wanna turn my stomech back to normal now."

"Well, well." Avarizia says as he sees Makuto turn into water the reform blocking his Cross Counter. Makuto then casts a dome which will absorb all heat within 3 meters, that done it suddenly became extremely cold. "W-w-what!?" the Guildmaster questioned shivering as Makuto then began to channel electricity. Utilizing the fact that his right hand was feeling numb from ice cold water he used his left hand and Telekinesis Magic to pull it out as the electricity jumped to it.

After that ordeal Avarazia hopped back a few times to escape the freezing dome. He used Telekinesis Magic once more, lifting a suit of armor from the far left of the arena. He brought the suit close to him making it swing it's sword a few times before it slammed the sword into the ground. In the meantime he used his pocketed left hand to use Light Magic to warm it from the freezing.

Avarizia then motioned for the armor to attack, the armor, now swordless, obeyed and flew forward. The armor lunged and jabbed at Makuto quickly, with the movements of a boxer. As the suit attacked it wouldn't be hindered by as much by movement speed as it was controlled telekinetically, moving faster than even Avarizia could. While it attacked Avarizia pulled out his right hand to adjust his glasses and cast "Glittering Eyes" which would go straight through the armor, employing it as a blind spot, but do to the armor moving telekinetically, it would not stop striking.

"I'm actually a good close-range fighter too, but what you do is dangerous Maku. I think I'll stay back here where it's safe." Avarizia spoke as the light faded from his eyes.
