Zanpakutou explanation, Part 2

Keiji Shobatsu-ho 2: Aku Ansatsu (Criminal Punishment Act Two: Assassination of Evil): A Large Shuriken that is extremely heavy, though its owner does not feel this due to his spiritual connection allowing a heavy weapon to be thrown quite easily. Its great weight causes it to be very difficult to block successfully. It is meant to "Make evil feel the weight of their crimes."

Shiko had become a bit more aware of what was happening. Whether it was his greatest plans or his Bankai itself, it would have no effect unless he truly was the type of man he said he was. Captain Zeref dodged Shiko's maneuvers and wasn't impressed with his techniques. Zeref spoke more words of wisdom, ending with "What is sharpness when you have fear in your heart... I can sense it, Attack me like there is no tomorrow." before punishing Shiko's last attack with a knee. The damage radiated through Shiko's body and woke up the burn wounds dormant on his left side. The wounded Captain coughed three times loudly and rose to a standing position.

Captain Zeref, having moved only a bit from his position, "Hado No. 90 Kurohitsugi". Besides Bankai, Shiko had other words he'd never want to hear another captain say to him, Kurohitsugi was one of them. As the gravity welled around Shiko he almost reflexively cast "Bakudo No. 8, Seki" hitting himself with the blue orb in his left hand and repulsing himself out of the area of the Hado spell which would have been near impossible to Shunpo out of.

Due to his opponent's radiating power it wasn't too hard to sense him as he dissapeared into the sky, however blocking what came next would be a task. As Captain Zeref began his incantation, Shiko felt the wear of the battle on his body. With multiple Kido spells, damage, running and Bankai used, but Shiko could not afford to let up here. Shiko's eyes became fixed on the red orbs that illuminated the black sky with a crimson glow. The caster began to chant another spell, which Shiko recognized as Rikujokoro, Shiko made a moving target of himself by using Shunpo before performing his trademark acrobatic dodges. The red orbs crashed down, Shiko managed to just escape, however when it comes to the blast of a Captain's Shakkaho, mid-flip was not a good position to be in. Shiko worked the explosion to his advantage by rolling into a tumble, breaking his fall. He then swiveled around while reattaching the two parts of his trident.

The Captain, finished with the kido spells, now descended once more upon the battlefield. At that point darkness began rushing toward Kodlack's blade with great speed from all around the battlefield. It took all of 5 seconds before he swung the sword crushing the Hado 90 (which Shiko had to back away from, as even though Shiko had moved since was still somewhat nearby due to its massive scale). The slash eliminated the existance of a large area, a sight to bring despair.

Zeref, not finished with the assault used Shunpo appearing close to him and slashing away at him. Shiko blocked and deflected the deadly swings. The Dark Warrior then turned around suddenly and Shiko, being still next to him felt a shift.

"I think you should get away Shiko"

Shiko did not respond as he saw a light, almost as if to say 'of course'

Shiko then swiftly pulled his Seki trick again, holding his entire trident in his left hand as he created a orb in his right with no words spoken. As Shiko flew away and back flipped to catch balance he saw not a Kido, but a Cero, the impact and force alone destroying anything the full blast didn't. Shiko immediately realized the true plan that was at play.

Shiko now landed on the ground farther away from the Captain (which was exactly where he wanted to be).

"If I don't fight with everything I have, I won't get anywhere" Shiko thought assuredly.

[Okay. Let's go!] Shiko shouted in a language not often heard in the Soul Society [English]

"I was hoping to hear you say that" Jaakumetsu responded

And with that a purple aura appeared around Shiko, rushing in a swirl before becoming a darker shade and bursting outward with a gust of wind.

When Shiko reappeared, he looked changed a bit. His purple jacket (see: character image) was now wrapped around his waist and all that remained was a formfitting black shirt. His left cheek now had a "二" printed on it in black. He held in his hand no longer a Trident, but a large shuriken.

Shiko's hair blew westward in the wind produced by his own power around him. The image of a tiger could once again be seen behind him as he glowed a purple color. The sight of the battle became quite a show. A blackened battleground, tinged with purple radiation while two warriors stood across from one another their Reiatsu together creating a wall of pressure in the area. The Tiger stepped up to battle Death itself.

"I understand what you said, and I will not stop trying to defeat you." he then continued on another subject "This weapon is different from the last, it is incredibly heavy. But if you know about Zanpakuto, you'll know that no matter the weight it's owner can always wield it." he said calmly as if he achieved some sort of enlightenment "Therefore, it's weight can only be a danger to my opponent." he spoke in conclusion though likely all anyone would hear who wasn't powerful enough were the roars of a tiger.

"Death Tiger's Keening" he shouted as he threw the heavy shuriken at his opponent at high speeds while glowing. The shuriken spun wildly like a razor and its speed combined with its weight made it quite dangerous. Shiko Flash Stepped far behind his target and caught his Giant Shuriken, finishing his feint attack.

Shiko then leaped high into the air, his jump augmented by Reiryoku. He wrapped two Spirit Threads around the inside of the Bankai. He tossed the Shuriken down at the Captain with both arms while sharpening it with Reiatsu while doing so. As the weapon flew at down he gripped the Spirit Threads and controlled their direction, aiming it directly at Kodlack. The Shuriken would slam against the ground with great force, not just smashing the immediate ground around it, but a large area beneath. The brightness around Shiko calming down, he casted "Hado #11. Tsuzuri Raiden" to shock anything the giant shuriken was in contact.

Shiko plunged to the ground before landing with his left hand and both feet (Three-Point Landing). Shiko then rose up while reeling in his Bankai back to him. Exhaling before taking a deep breath as he knew his work wasn't done.

Shiko launched his heavyweight Bankai once more, holding onto the cords he controlled it to target Kodlack with hi right handalone. He motioned his left hand to cast a spell "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!" then calling "Bakudo No. 9, Geki". He targeted specifically Kodlack's feet focusing the entire spell there to hold the Captain down. Now with the trap in motion Shiko aimed to finish the Captain with the absurdly heavy shuriken that would be very difficult to block.

"I wish I could laugh at such a statment, but in this form I share the emotions of my Zanpakuto. Making me a care free killer, with no regard for who I fight. Shi No Yahiba allows me to restrain it enough to make sure I don't kill if the moment comes." Zeref said with his eyes half opened like someone who didn't care about anything. "I warn you, if you know my pwer you are a fool to send such a weapon towards me." Seeing the Weapon only a few feet away as he attempted to end the fight, Zeref ducked so low that the weapon had just barly missed.

(Basicly my face is as emotionles as Ichigo's when he was in the FGT look. how his face looked though out the fight.)

He then turned his head slightly as he saw it being thrown at him again, but this time from the air. He then jumpe back just before it hit, flying back he saw a yellow cord attached to it. "Kido..." Soon once he landed he found his feet unmovable, he could see it comeing back at him.

"I warned you, now I hope you know what happened when a Zanpakuto is broken in bankai..." Soon he raised his sword above him as the black aura from the slashes earlyer come back. "Reap them all..." He then slashed at the shurrinkan just before it hit. The power was so great the he stoped the spinning a little late and it stoped with the bit of the blade in his back. "IF only I could feel the pain.." He then coninued his blade through the projectile like butter. "Is this it..." He then shuved the sword into the ground as he formed the aura around his body to eleminate the weapon shard in his back.


I guess it is time to end this. Raising once more he released all of his Spiritual Presser. Soon th reiatsu turned pure black and the ground slowly turned to death. Rockes and pebbles all around the arena lifted and turned to dirt. But it wasn't over all of the reiatsu formed into the blade. The blade that once was of death, now seemed like it could kill a God, as the aura was massive the thearea around Zeref was black and turning. "One blast could destroy the entire Soul Society....Now Reap fom the heavens." By the time the speach was over Zeref was already below the Captain with the sword still up as he released it all towords the man at point blank range, creating an extreamly and incredibly powerful and huge slash wave of death. As it covered 6 football fields. All in hope it would take out the Captain. Secretly though it was pure reiatsu and not really the blach slash to make it seem, not wanting to kill him he hoped it would knock him out by a powerful attack that should render him unable to fight if hit.

"I told you to find the weakness, but it seems you ran out of time." The captain said with his mind distracted at the huge slash.

Kodlack removed his mask and easily evaded Shiko's attacks, Shiko started to become back where he started in combat. Kodlack dodge and evaded every attack while asserting his new found killing potential, before slashing rather than blocking the Shuriken on its way to him. As the serious-senior Captain cut a bit of the blade speaking "Reap them all...", Jaakumetsu cried out in agony.

"Auuuuuuuuuuuugh!" he cried, ending with a low grunt.

Shiko transformed his zanpakuto quickly while pulling it far westward of the Captain. The mark upon his face quickly disappeared. He looked briefly in horror at the blade before focusing his eyes back onto his opponent. His eyes focused. His eyes focused harder. His eyes focused the hardest you could possibly imagine. His eyes focused on Zeref.

Zeref's power began to radiate 'killing' the very field the stood upon with the black powers of the Captain. Shiko didn't look away from the dark sight for even a moment as he took two (nail) shuriken out and wrapped them around the backs of his hands, tying the second with his teeth. Ironically enough, Shiko had never been more decisive in his life than now, while his Zanpakutou lay silent. Never more determined, never more intent.

Zeref's power formed into a blade visible for miles, a blade of black killing intent, symbolic of the wielder's true nature. Shiko watched like a tiger watching its prey. "One blast could destroy the entire Soul Society....Now Reap from the heavens." And the Captain disappeared. Shiko had now gotten to know the Captain's speed and no longer felt the fear limiting him, his eyes remained fixed as he shined with Spiritual Pressure around him. The Captain reappeared and though all of that happened in less than a moment, Shiko's spirit burned for ages.

Captain Kodlack reappeared and slashed cutting away at life for hundreds of yards. As he did this Shiko, disappeared (Flash Step) breaking the ground beneath him. Shiko reappeared on Kodlack's right at elbow's length, a ghastly show happening behind him. His head was still turned facing the Captain, so he turned the rest of his body while swinging both arms back, dislocating them before swinging them forward without warning. As both his arms swung together he while they glowed brightly with concentrated Reiatsu, the left arm was headed towards the Captain's upper back while the right one was swinging for the upper abdomen. The Reiatsu around both the arms would sharpen and harden the shuriken and his arms to their maximum. As Shiko charged his all into the attack his eyes were pure white and expression was very truly a sight to see, angry and through some impossible way, appeased.

"TEEEEEEEIIIYAAAH" Screamed the young, recently promoted, Shiko Hanasaku, who if he had the time would likely say, 'Death Tiger's Rampage'. Two streaks of blinding purple illuminated the black wasteland.

Unnamed (Dubbed Death Tiger's Rampage)

• First Shiko pulls his arms back past their limits, dislocating them while breathing inward and welling up Reiatsu

• Second Shiko swings both arm at the intended target releasing the Reiatsu while exhaling delivering a crushing blow

This requires Shiko's Tiger Claws technique (where he uses Spirit Thread or cloth to wrap two (nail) shuriken around his hands as a close range fighting style

Feeling the reiatsu in the black slash that Zeref let out his eye's widened as he hadn't expected Shiko to still move, let alone escape the move. As he turned the face on him was that of someone intent on winning.

He put up his left hand and cast. Bakudo No. 39 Enkosen. As he did the shield the set up to block the attack and his other hand used his sword. But to no avile, the sword blocked find but soon found himself being moved. Do to his Bankai, he could feel no pain or emotion. He then Flash-Stepped out but was flying out of the positstion he wanted to be in. He then notec the hole in his lower chest.(Abdomen right?) His eys wide, as he didn't expect the attack. He then raised his sword again as he stood up bringing in the death and decay into his blade once more.

"Know fear..." He then focused all his reiatsu into his feet as he then Moved with such speed that exceeded that of a flash-step. To what appeard him still hoding his sword up and finishing his speach was really him saying is while moving is speed around the Captain to the point no eye should see. Until death opened his door, "Release, Mundo de la Muerte..." The Captain spoke in what most Hollows or Arrancars would say.

Soon his mask was formed on in a complete state, and his blade grew with a black thinkness eating up the air. With in the 2 secs of all this since he left the poistion of talking to the other Captain a Massive orb tried to appear around him. After the Orb was complete he walded up to it and stuck his blade in it. once in one million blades of death would appear and move in the same way Zeref's did. He then thusted it into the orb that should severly injure anyone or thing inside. During all this he also had a massive Cero Charged in his mouth hidden the whole time. Doing so he bended back in a stange position that would break the back of most and fired behind hime and into a complete circle in hopes to kill anything near or behind or on the sides or top of him that was not in the orb.

With that he absorbed the blackness into the blade as he then sheathed it breaking his Bankai. Back to normal the silly Captain clutched his stomach as he began to bleed. Thanks to his Bankai the pain from befor had healed slightly and hurt like hell.

As he droped to his knees hoping his opponent was done, he felt the Burn on his back and all over his body as it had turned a darker color from his Bankai's power. "If...you still wish to fight I have more power, but I can only stay in Bankai for a small time do to his burning or decaying my body..." His mask then broke off and he held him self up with his hands on his knee and the other on the ground. Panting he waited for an answer. Secretly he casted a Kido that should be used as atrap that shouldn't be seen by most. It was a secret one. Bakudo No. 97 Star's Wall. Once the opponent walks in near the user it traps them for 5 min's in a form of a crystal star. (Is this ok? if not totaly discard it. I just noticed that not all the Bakudos or Hado's have been revealed so I put a creative part to make one.)

Captain Kodlack defended against part of the attack, but as was it was a pincer attack, the right side hit. He reacted to this as a warrior such as himself would, showing no pain.

Kodlack soon created a much more advanced afterimage than his previous, this one seemingly symbolizing the inevitability of death. Shiko felt wind around him from the movement and leaped into the sky, maintaining his deadly battle focus. But this was in vain for a black orb formed just as quickly as Shiko jumped catching his left ankle and below. That happened in a matter of 2 seconds before Kodlack stabbed the black orb, and Shiko screamed in agonizing pain as his lower leg was violently stabbed. Zeref then performed a backbend and shot a Cero out from his hollow mask that Shiko, prior to that, did not notice. Shiko used the last of his Reiatsu to defend his body as the Cero exploded outward damaging Shiko greatly as his pain was drowned out by the loudness of the Cero's growl.

Captain Zeref then resealed his zanpakuto and reverted to his more often seen self. Zeref fell to his knees, questioning whether or not Shiko wanted to continue battling. Shiko fell down to the ground feeling great pain, his eyes returned to normal, his clothes were now ripped in various places due to the Cero's blast. Shiko stumbled on the ground, accidentally putting pressure on his left foot. He writhed for a moment and his mask fell to the ground. |(Oh imagine it, would ya)| Shiko, now in a sitting position along the ground began to speak. He needed no time to consider whether or not to enter the world of darkness.

"No, I think this battle is over." he breathed heavily before looking down at his severely injured foot, "I at least know I can't battle anymore." Shiko continued taking off the "Tiger Claws" from his hands.

"I've done everything I could, I'm content with that, because that's what I'm going to keep doing" Shiko said as the sun returned, and, unsure where to ache he chose all areas and fell from sitting to flat on his back.

[Shisko Shi]

"Good, because..umm I can't move. Haha" Zeref laughed as if they had been old war partners that just servived a battle of their lives. "My Bankai had more power, but to use it ruins my body over time. If I'd keep going I'd look like The Olf Man that passed not to long ago..." He said laying on the ground looking at the sky, "Plus I am now feeling the pain from the battle. Well their goes my chance at parting this week, looks like Hikaru will be getting ever girl now..." He then looked what would be up, but because he was laying o nthe ground it was towords Shiko. I don't now who won, but you have my sword anytime. I usally just drink and party anyways."

With that the Stealth Force arraives and offers to patch Shiko up at the 2nd division's barracks.

"Hey don't worry about your Zanpakuto... If he is hurt I can fix that. He should be fine, if anything the aura stoped communication and should be good now. I can reverse the effects of the aura."

Shiko laughed a bit, hearing the Captain's jovial nature back in full effect. Zeref stated that he didn't know for sure who won for sure, but to Shiko aswell as Kodlack, it hardly mattered.

The Stealth Force arrive offering to mend Shiko's wounds, Shiko agrees immediately. Looking back remorsefully before Zeref assures him that the effects upon the blade can be reversed.

The sun set as Shiko was carried to be healed, looking back the now in ruins Sokyoku Hill before closing his eyes in rest.

It's up to you. Personaly I love the story to the rp's and I have to say... You deserve a awared for your's. They seem very legit. But I'd ask ghost on what he thinks. I don't want to ruin the story he started lol.

-Yeah you too, though I thought I was going to get an easier first battle, but this was still really fun.
-Looks like Ghost went offline, no surprise, it's late where he is (according to location), I could use a rest from thinking and typing too.

Good job Max and Shisko. Shisko; you went toe-to-toe with this guy and I am amazed on how fast you picked this up. Max; you did such a great performance as well. Please allow me a moment to go over the fight and pick out a winner.

Just know that to judge this was a very difficult task that I would hate to repeat. Just know that both of you guys did a tremendous job on this fight and if it was up to me I would put it in a tie. I cannot do no such thing. A rivalry was born here today, gentlemen. But my job is to choose a winner.

I just want to say thanks for this, I never knew if I'd win but at some point it became about so much more than winning a battle. Seriously this was really fun and I loved working on it every moment that I should have been sleeping.

-Ghost: For taking the time to set this stuff up, judging, looking over my weapons, providing a character to use for history, and a lot of other stuff I can't even remember.
-Shisko: Providing a fun character and difficult challenge for me to face. And for dealing with any problems my noobishness may have caused, I think great that we were able to have a battle that was actually completed and with no major problems showing up. Especially considering you had to take my word for the Bankai and techniques, whereas your stuff was already posted.
-All Hail the !BFV CANON! May it lead to greatness.
