Hello Everyone.....Some of you probably don't remember me and some probably will but its a me Wind Style Naruto and I'm here to introduce to you a beast game developed by Platinum Games (creators of the amazingly fast-paced, epic, and innovative 3rd person shooter Vanquish, immensely popular stylish hack and slash Bayonetta, and super gory, uber violent, and hilarious game with a boss soundtrack for the Wii Mad World and are also involved with the widely talked about upcoming Metal Gear spin off Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance) and published by SEGA.

This under appreciated, under advertised, and almost unknown gem is a 3D third person Online Beat em' Up Brawler of the likes of Capcom's classic "Power Stone" series for the Xbox 360 & PS3.

Its basically Devil May Cry (or Bayonetta), mixed with Power Stones mixed with Streets of Rage and Street Fighter and you can get this mix match made in heaven for the reduced price of THIRTY DOLLARS!!!!

Anarchy Reigns is a Online Full Scale Beat em Up Brawler with Third Person Shooter elements and serves as a follow up, sequel, spiritual successor to the super ultra violent Wii game "Mad World" in almost every aspect such as its intense violence, gory yet stylish combat, and unique soundtrack consisting of rap, hip hop mixed with metal and now techno.

In some online/offline multiplayer modes the anarchy is set loose as action triggered events bring chaos to the battlefield (whether it be a flood, enemy invasions, jet bombers, random boss encounters, the entire battlefield changing, wild trucks, and much more). No online match will ever be same each time.

As well as its campaign mode which is 2 separate story modes Black Side & White Side with each side following the story of the game's 2 main protagonists Jack Cayman (the main character from Mad World who is as violent as he was before in Mad World but now is twice as deadly with his dual augmented chainsaw Gater Tooth) and Leonhardth Victorion (or just simply known as Leo and is the new guy with dual Positron Blades) as they must partake in a tale of calamitic and anarchic proportions as they hunt down public enemy #1 and former soldier/hero gone renegade Maxilliam Caxton for their purposes. Set in a post-apocalyptic future of advanced cybernetic technology, cyborgs, rampaging mutants, and anarchy most of the chaos takes place in the ruined city of Alambra which is a hot pool of crime, anarchy, and chaos.

Anarchy Reigns this beast of a chaotic game comes out tomorrow in stores in the US (sorry for being so late) and January 13 for the UK (probably Europe too) for the extremely cheap and reduced price of THIRTY FREAKING DOLLARS!!!!!

Okay moving on since the game literally comes out tomorrow....I must hurry this and move on to the characters.

Anyway...Anarchy Reigns is very unique in design and aesthetics from the outside and its character roster is though small (since its the first game in the series) but has a decent roster of 16-17 characters are very creative and just has a style that Anarchy Reigns pulls off. Anarchy Reigns combines American and Japanese (also some Chinese) stereotypes from movies, tv shows, tropes, anime, manga, and culture (music and design) to create a rather diverse cast that are very different from each other in both character, design, and even combat and abilities. They're are plenty of Japanese (Asian) and Western (mainly American) stereotypes but they're so well done its funny and interesting.

To start off we have the 2 starring characters Leo and Jack.

Jack Cayman:
Voiced by Joji Nakata (Japanese), who played Hody Jones in One Piece, Baki in Naruto, Pharoah in Soul Eater, Kageyama in Black Lagoon, Koiche Yamabe in Case Closed, and most of all Alucard in Hellsing.
Voiced by Steve Blum (English), must I say it Orochimaru and Zabuza from Naruto, Mugen from Samurai Champloo, Vincent Valentine in Dirge of Cerberus, almost anything pertaining to Wolverine, and is Tom from Toonami

Mad World Jack

Jack Cayman is the star character returning from his past game Mad World. Even though he and Leo share the main character spot he is more well revered and seems like the center of focus since he was already in a game where he was the main character so he is more well known than new guy Leo. Anyway Jack has devastating moves as a heavy hitting brawler and uses heavy punches and despite his big size can demolish his foes quite quickly and with his dual Chainsaw Gator Tooth can tear through his opponents with the deadly force of an alligator. Perfect for heavy hitter users and great for devastatingly violent combos and moves. Jack Cayman is actually based off of Western buff heroes in the 80 movies (like Duke Nukem but better) and his design is based on Gears of War main character Marcus Fenix (the hair, the bulkiness, and the chainsaw weapon). Jack is also based off of 90s biker dudes and is a bit of a smoker. Jack is insanely ripped and seems like if he was in DragonBall Z he would fit in really well with Broly and his character comes off as an anti-hero or someone you can see in Berserk. He is ruthless, shows little to no mercy, almost no sympathy, takes extreme pleasure in his job as a mercenary/assassin of the Chaser Guild, and has a motto of "I don't help people, I KILL EM!". However, despite all of this he has a soft spot for some girl (Max's daughter) and he apparently has a little daughter named Steka (shocking someone so ruthless can actually be very kind and light hearted person and A FATHER NONETHELESS) that when tasked with helping her find her father Maximilian Caxton before he is found and execute so his will is put to the test as he must either help out his friend or follow his motto and kill Max for his heinous crimes.

Leonhardt Victorion:
Voiced by Hiroki Tochi (Japanese), Kugo Ginjo from Bleacj, Pantherlily from Fairy Tail, and is the voice (dub) over for Will Smith and Sam Worthington movie starring them (Bad Boys, Fresh Prince, Terminator Salvation)

Leo for short is the other main character and is Jack's rival such as many great rivals in history. Interesting concept Jack wear black and Leo wears white and their opposing character types creates a deep contrast to Yin & Yang. Leo comes off as a generic bishonen or Final Fantasy-esque with his design (looking like Squall from FFVIII) but it isn't moody or emo....much but don't let his good looks fool you this proud warrior can mess up any foe with his Dual Positron Blade and with his quick reflexes and the armored suit that can generate dozens of positron blades from any part of his body (finger tips, feet, knees) his speed and adaptive fighting style makes his devastating at close range mixed with his Muay Thai fighting style he is perfect for Tekken/Dead or Alive like combos and excellent combo strings. As for his back story, he is a member of the Strike One Force, whose duty is to serve as local self government and authority force for certain parts of the world reduced to a wasteland by mutants and anarchy. He is also the pupil of head captain Maximilian Caxton who thought him everything that he knows and so when he hears that his former master Max goes renegade and betrays the Strike One Unit he find it hard to believe and when orders goes out to kill Max does Leo have it in him to kill his former master or will Jack beat him to it?

Moving on up next are the supporting cast and we'll start with Jack's team.

The Blacker Baron:
Voiced by Wataru Takagi (Japanese), Tobi (when he was retarded) from Naruto Shippuden, Ganju Shiba from Bleach, and Alaindelon from Beelzebub
Voiced by Arif S. Kinchen (English), he was in various Coca-Cola and Domino's commercial as well as had roles in Happy Feet, Family Guy, and Saints Row as Pierce Washington.

Black Baron from Mad World

As expected with his name the Blacker Baron or just Baron is a living breathing, walking African-AMERICAN stereotype as portrayed in the media....sometimes. He isn't a rapper like Killer Bee but he is something more interesting.......a pimp....yes pimps still exists in a post-apocalyptic future. He is mainly comedic relief as he mainly shouts funny yet stereotypical jokes and I can understand why the Japanese voice of Tobi voices him they're both hilarious in a stupid way. He is based off the Black Baron from Mad World who too is a pimp (this is an alternate universe to Mad World to let you know) and fun thing is (Spoiler Alert) the Black Baron is the final boss in Mad World and the hardest and strongest one too but now he serves as an ally to Jack rather than his enemy. He just like Jack is inhumanly ripped and will literally fit well in Naruto next to the 3rd & 4th Raikage (bad pun..........). Instead of lightning Baron has the power of fire with his................Super Sexy Fists of Fire.....those flaming boxing gloves he apparently obtain from a.........pyromaniac SEX FREAK!?!?......Moving on Baron is a brawler just like Jack and fights like boxers with quick steps and speedy and quick jabs, punches, and uppercuts. He rivals Leo in close combat but his flashy footwork puts him on higher grounds and is perfect for counter attacking and dodging while maintaining hitting distance of an opponent and his blazing fists can produce some stylish and pimping combos and finishers to lay the smack down on some fools. "Keep Your Pimp Strong!"

Mathilda in Mad World

Mathilda is too a character from Mad World just like Jack and Baron but wasn't a boss but was Baron's assistant and she is still too in Anarchy Reigns as well as an ally to Jack in his cause along side Baron. She is actually a mute and even though I haven't seen all of the story yet doesn't speak just laugh and makes sounds. She is batsh*t crazy and will bash her victims heads in with her steel spiked club the Iron Maiden and mixed with her femme fatalle designed combat such as sticking out needles out of armor to do extra damage, her b*tch smacking and super strength to toss around her foes she is a force to be messed with. She gains pleasure from making her victims suffer so be careful of her and her deadly moves. Plus she is one of the most combo heavy characters thus making her very useful.


Sasha Ivanoff:
Voiced by Yu Asakawa (Japanese), she did Christina from K-ON, Lebreau from FFXIII, and Arnett McMillan from Freezing
Voiced by Kim Mai Guest (English), she did Nina Einstein from Code Geass, Holly Summers in No More Heroes, and Mei-Ling from Metal Gear Solid series

Sasha is not only another femme fatale but her character is based on that of the Western action girl stereotype and represents the cold winter it seems innocent and alluring but its plotting your slow and cold demise. She comes off the cliche spy girl especially with her European accent (in the English dub) like those seen in Austin Powers and the 007 series. Man that accent can be pretty useful for her character but her accent isn't used to be seductive but mysterious. Funny that she is based on Bayonetta in terms of design and in abilities is based on one of Bayonetta's weapons in her game known as Odette, which are a pair of ice skates with ice based power. She along side Leo is a member of the Strike One Unit who was tasked to eliminate Max and is also Leo's partner. She can be dead serious and with her Snow Pikes this Ice Queen will make sure her victims will suffer, a slow, agonizing, and cold painful death. She is quite quick and limber but her Snow Pikes adds extra devastation and even mid range attacks adding more depth to her combat. However there is some mystery to this bewitching member of the Strike One Unit.


Nikolai Dimitri Bulygin:
Voiced by Ryuzaburo Otomo (Japanese), he played Sir Crocodile from One Piece and various roles in DBZ Kai such as King Cold and Porunga
Voiced by Zach Gowan (English), he was in Numbers, CSI: Miami, and Good Luck Charlie

When you have both Nikolai and Dimitri in your name you know your OD Russian. Well of course Nikolai is your extremely stereotypical Russian character that its not funny. Baron's blackness was funny but this is just woah. Nikolai oozes Russian from his Russian accent (English dub) to his cold and strict personality. Nikolai is a fully augmented Cyborg unlike Jack and Baron he is more machine than man. With various upgrades to once former human body he gains the Tesla Blitz weapons that can generates millions of voltage for discharging his targets. Mixed agile combos and attacks his improved neurocepters means he has great reaction in battle and can pull off, chain together devastating moves, and even cancel very quickly. He is the leader of the Strike One Unit and is Leo and Sasha's higher up. He leads a group of him, Leo, and Sasha to find and eliminate Max. He like I said is strict and is even more cold and heartless than Jack passing the order to kill Max so easily without any form of remorse or reconsideration for his former comrade. He rules the Strike One Unit with a iron fist (literally you can say his body is mainly mechanical). He who was once human now separates himself from mankind and is just a machine that creates and executes orders and execute those who don't follow down to his rather ruthless methods and arbitrary thinking it makes you wonder if Max or him is the villain here.

Okay Baron and Mathilda works with Jack (Black Side) while Leo works for Nikolai and with Sasha (White Side) those are the main teams....or protagonists.

Next I will explain some antagonists soon.

So what Street Fighter IV won fighting game of the year in 2009....or was it 2010.

Plus the quality of the game doesn't equate to popularity I can list various excellent games that failed in sales such as Okami, God Hand, Vanquish, or ones that should've won GoTY but didn't.

GoTY only comes down to popularity....Persona 4 Arena was a great game, Atlus ARE VERY POPULAR, they had great advertising for it, and people loved it and competition in the fighting game department was very low (Street Fighter X Tekken sucked as a fighting game on its, Dead or Alive 5 wasn't that impressive and had a lot of problems, Soul Calibur V didn't meet expectations, and Tekken Tag 2 got pretty meh reception). Plus Persona 4 Arena came out at the near end of the year after everyone (mainly reviewers and critics) forgot about the other fighters so it was a shoe in to win.

Down the end of the line Anarchy Reigns isn't all that popular due to its lack of advertising because of SEGA but I know people who imported it said it was pretty game and something amazing. Some have said GOTY material.

Plus Anarchy Reigns is NOT a fighting game....it can play like one and have 1 on 1 Cage Match modes but it is a new experience that brings back the forgotten beat em up genre games of Power Stones, Streets of Rage, and etc and hurl them into the next generation with tons of innovative gameplay mechanics.

In Persona 4 Arena can I hop in a helicopter and gun down people THEN piledrive said helicopter, in Persona 4 Arena are there gigantic boss battles, in Persona 4 Arena is there a mode to play football where I can kill the players of the opposing, in Persona 4 Arena can I respawn after getting killed in a Battle Royal match, does Persona 4 Arena have a 16 player Battle Royal match, in Persona 4 Arena are the stages literally the size of a city, in Persona 4 Arena do planes bomb the battlefield, Bosses and enemies come in to wreak havoc, Tsunami's occur, black holes pop up out of nowhere, sandstorms, the battlefield changes, ORRRR.....do they have the ability to weaken a monster and hop on it to tear apart the other players and even giant robots. Can I pick cars, bikes, tires, traffic signs, and a bunch of other stuff and throw them at people?

No....oh I thought so.

Persona 4 Arena and Anarchy Reigns aren't even in the same category.

.....Okay now that is settled moving on.

Okay now next are antagonists. Other than Max each character's story actually has antagonists that comes off as their main obstacle. Leo and Jack both share Max as a primary antagonist but have their enemies/baddies they must face along their journey.

Big Bull:

Big Bull as seen in Mad World

Big Bull was a mini-boss in Mad World so he returns back in Anarchy Reigns as a full war machine of 3 tons of death. Big Bull with his Jet Hammer is possibly the slowest character in the game but his spinning attacks and most of his attacks spread wide and far making almost invulnerable to someone attacking him. What he lacks in speed he makes up in brute force and can blow an enemy away in seconds. Good for maintaining distance. Big Bull just like Nikolai was once a man until he suffered critical damage to his body to the point his body was unusable so they had to move his vital organs (mainly his brain) to this mechanical body. He is apparently the king of Alambra even he is a bad king letting the mutants and mutant gangs run ram-pit. He is a main obstacle to Jack as he owns Alambra and his power posses to get in the way of Jack moving on but can Jack handle this 3 ton war machine bull who was "born horny". Yeah Big Bull is a bit of a playboy as its implied he was a major playboy and possibly king of Alambra before his body was bashed in.

Zero:

Meet Anarchy Reigns resident badass ninja Zero. A cybernetic ninja and skilled practitioner of his Style Ninjutsu who wields two katanas, Onimaru and Juzumaru in which he can deal devastating and quick moves. Zero has some of the most lethal and gory moves I've seen in the game literally one of his grabs is that he stabs his opponent in their eyes with both swords he makes Jack and his chainsaw as well as Sasha seem nice. Great for speedy users who likes to mix Taijutsu with Ninjutsu fueled Kenjutsu attacks and combinations and those who like flashy yet brutal moves he is perfect. Zero is your stereotypical ninja (even the voice of Sasuke voices him) but with a twist he is also somewhat of a mad scientist who has been fighting mutants and battling cyborgs in order to acquire data for the development of a new weapon for his drone army. Zero also is the leader of a rogue clan of cyborg ninjas and stuff and has a execution team set out to find and kill Max. He becomes Jack's main targets for the game after Zero considers Jack a threat to his plans so he sets out to destroy him as well. Zero follows strictly to the Japanese code of honor making him the most Japanese media stereotype in the entire game. Zero is a reference to one of SEGA's past games Shinobi as well as his design seems based on the monster energy drink....funny heh.


Durga:

Durga appears to be a bit Australian design based he is just missing the accent.....oh he has an accent not sure what it is though. Like Sasha, Durga is also based on one of Bayonetta's weapons called Durga which are a pair of lightning and fire claws....granted Durga doesn't have lightning and fire abilities he has claws and freaking revolver canon in his knee. That leg of his though can be a bit slow or have a start up animation for heavy attacks can do heavy damage and easily launch foes into the sky. Durga got some pretty slick moves you'll expect from a tiger and has some acrobatic cat like style of martial arts but his true usefulness comes down to his Revolver Canon which gives him long range attacks even if they are limited but they're ideal for chaining up combos and even pull of long range combos which is rare for the characters. He is the only character who uses fire arms or long range attacks making him a pretty dangerous predator. Durga's design seems like that of a hunter mixed with a tiger you say. Durga will probably say some Darwinism or survival of the fittest type stuff. He tends to laugh like a hyena and have a big ego which is funny when he says lines like "I'm invincible" or "I'm a god" which are play on of his name since Durga is also the name of a Hindu God. Durga is also a cyborg bounty hunter with a hunting fixation and he also killed his partner. He serves as one of Leo's primary targets as has some odd connection to Max so Leo chases him on a goose chase to gain info on Max but Leo if anything becomes Durga's prey.


Garuda:

Anarchy Reigns own Transformer here is Garuda. He can turn into a jet and fly to his targets as well as bring out his Tornado Drills for super drilling action and he plays rather similar to Big Bull. His design at first seemed influenced by Tails Tornado plane in the Sonic game series but it seems modeled after Sonic's vehicle in Sonic All-Star Racing and considering in Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed Sonic's car can turn into a jet too. I don't know which is one is it but I do know that Garuda is the name of another Hindu God and its interesting because Garuda is the loyal partner of Durga and Durga is named after a Hindu God too. In fact Garuda in Hindu myth was a half bird half man referencing Garuda's capability to become a jet and humanoid fighting machine. Garuda oddly has a connection to a series of mass produced jet fighters that are just like him known as Gargoyles. Garuda also has the memories of Durga's former partner that Durga killed.

Oinkie Edgar:
Voiced by Taichi Setogawa (Japanese) and Yuri Lowenthal (English)

Oinkie is that "fat guy", the fat guy who loves to eat.....bacon....oh now I get it. I don't think Oinkie is an actual pig but just looks like one. Don't let his fatness fool the guy is a beast LITERALLY. Other than his rather excellent martial arts skills this fat pig from Port Valenda uses a mutagen he calls "The Juice", which temporarily changes him into a reptilian beast, to deliver powerful blows in the blink of an eye. He can roll in the form of ball and do spin attacks (referencing Sonic the Hedgehog) which is a great way to get close to an opponent and open up with combos. Switching between beast mode and human mode can create a devastating combo stream with this fatso. Oinkie is a junk seller as well as develops and sells illegal products which brings him under suspicion of Strike One BPS authority as Leo and Sasha are sent to deal with him and gain info but this pig won't squeal so easily.....man that joke was terrible.

Okay that is some main antagonists for now.....next I'll bring in some favorite characters of mine.

Rin Rin:

Rin Rin in Mad World

Ring~Ring, Ring~Ring, Ring~Ring!!!!
So anyway Rin...no not that Rin...is the last character from Mad World (also a boss there) to make it into Mad World granted there was a ton of other awesome bosses from Mad World that people wish made it into Anarchy Reigns (such as Elise, Von Twirllinkiller, Kojack, Jude the Dude, The Masters, and even Shogun) but it ends here with a ring. Rin in Anarchy Reigns as well as Mad World came off as your typical femme fatale especially portraying 2 types of femme fatale she was the kung-fu chick like Chun-Li and also the stylishly deadly Ada Wong her main color is red too.....Oh and Rin Rin is Chinese too. In Mad World she was referred to as the Kung-Fu Queen so Kung-Fu is her main style of hand to combat mixed with her two flaming fans known as Yanlong she can string together her super fast kicks, flexible palm strikes, super quick grabs and take downs, and her devastating and wide spreading attack range to pull of some hot combos. Rin Rin is also the clan member of Hong Long's (the Hong Kong/China of Anarchy Reigns) infamous clan the Crimson Dragons. She can be feisty and a bit of a hot head but appears to be calm and collected and can fight on par with even the strongest of men when she attacked Jack and Baron challenging them both to a fight (or maybe it was just Jack) but to do that it takes some major balls. She also has a dragon tattoo on her left leg.

Rin Rin had come from Mad World to Anarchy Reigns and she brought sisters. One of them being the oldest sister Fei-Rin. You can tell she is the hottest of the bunch.............but enough drooling moving on. She too is a member of the Crimson Dragon so she has the tattoo on her right arm. When faced with Fei in anyway whether it be in a fight or trying to get her number or score your not going to get lucky. Looks can kill and Fei Rin does so with Kung-Fu and her ice trident Zilong. She has the same kind of hand to hand combat like her younger sister Rin and uses Kung-Fu too but what stands her apart from Rin is her moves she pulls off with her spear. Incorporating her kung-fu with her fast and cool moves of her ice trident can create devastatingly sexy combos. One minute you can be giving the guys the smackdown like Rin then end it with pulling of pole dancing and stripper-tastic finishers. Fei likes to tease her opponents and her male player so if want to get good at using her don't get too distracted. You can tell by her theme song "It's All About Me" she is a bit conceited.....okay a lot conceited.

What do you get when Ling Xiaoyu from Tekken and Bruce Lee have a baby?......Ai Rin.....well any chinese like martial artist who uses nunchunks....Rock Lee, Guy, Jet Li, Maxi from Soul Calibur....anyone. Anyway, Ai Rin is obviously the youngest of the Rin sisters and a member of the Crimson Dragon clan so she has a dragon tattoo on her back (sexy....erhh...oh don't worry I can think dirty thoughts about her she is 18 years old, she is legal). Out of the 3 sisters she is the tomboy who doesn't care about boys, looks, and girly things like her sisters as you can tell her theme song "Venon" isn't sung by a woman like the her 2 sisters own theme songs and is fast pace and intense. Ai Rin loves video games (even more sexy) and fighting (if you know what I mean). All perverted joking aside she is pretty rambunctious, more feisty than Rin Rin, can be violent (that can be a good thing if you know what I mean), wild, and overall weird. Like the other Rin sisters she has the same moveset and uses Kung-Fu (yes all of the 3 Rin sisters are clones of each other or Rin in the martial arts department) but due to her lightning nunchucks Huanglong her combat will differ greatly. Being able to mix up her kung-fu along with her lightning nunchucks that also double as scythes can create some sick and lightning fast combos and Ai Rin is perfect for chaining aerial combos. Plus she is incredibly fast and also small which can make her sneaky to deal with plus her killer weapon the Huanglong has great range and attack speed. She is a tiny force to be reckon with. She along with her oldest sister Fei is unknown if they're involved with Rin's actions in Jack's story but she and Fei are involved in Leo's story. On a bonus note its unknown if Ai Rin actually lost her left eye or she wears an eye patch to be cool (Aaarrrggghhh!!!!)

Okay the game came out today and I picked up my copy so to end this....here are the last characters.

This mutated freak, is a mutant hunter from Bari-Shur. He works and blames the Strike One, the Bureau of Defense, and the BPS for allowing his home village to be destroyed by a mutant invasion leaving orphaned. So he grew up on his own in this wild, decaying world mastering the ways of combat and uses his dual pike-bunkers he calls "The Twins" (AKA Romeo and Juliet). This guy is extremely fearless and fierce on the battlefield his attacks are not just brutally swift but with his dual pile-bunkers he can create force waves and even earthquakes and blow his targets away like they're just flies. This guy can tenderize his foes and sent them packing. Despite being a mutant himself he bears a grudge against mutant as well and vows to hunt them all down and does it because he feels the BPS and the Strike One aren't doing their job. Don't let his old age foo you this geezer got a lot of fight left in him enough to literally crush you into a bloody pulp.


Maximilian Caxton:
Voiced by Shinji Ogawa (Japanese), mainly famous for his role as Hyo in Fist of the North Star

Max for short is the former leader of the Bureau Strike One Unit as well as Leo's former master but something happened and he betrayed them being not just a renegade but also a traitor. Due to his actions of hunting down his fellow former subordinates, killing various BPS soldiers, and is accused with the murder of his wife he has a huge bounty set on his head and almost everyone such Zero and his army and the Strike One wants him dead. However, Max is not going to be an easy target deal with for he was the former leader of Strike One for a reason. Due to his devastatingly stylish acrobatics and adept fighting style and he is highly skilled in the Cybrid Arts (basically various forms of combat the characters of Anarchy Reigns use that involves cyborg technology) he plays kind of close to Leo since he was his former master so he has access to the Positron Blades and the Tesla Blitz which are passed down to Strike One leaders are almost nothing like Nikolai's Tesla Blitz. So with 2 deadly negatively charged weapons his gameplay style differ greatly from Leo & Nikolai. What is Max's true intentions, is he after something and will Jack, Leo, the Strike One, Zero, and the others defeat this monster.

There is one more character though.

She is a special guest character available as DLC or as a pre-order bonus for the UK.

Yup SEGA & Platinum Games' titular witch has arrived to this crazy party ofexplosive, high speed, fist pounding, epic anarchy and she is the V.I.P with new moves that didn't make it in her own Bayonetta is ready to party.

GoTY only comes down to popularity....Persona 4 Arena was a great game, Atlus ARE VERY POPULAR, they had great advertising for it, and people loved it and competition in the fighting game department was very low (Street Fighter X Tekken sucked as a fighting game on its, Dead or Alive 5 wasn't that impressive and had a lot of problems, Soul Calibur V didn't meet expectations, and Tekken Tag 2 got pretty meh reception). Plus Persona 4 Arena came out at the near end of the year after everyone (mainly reviewers and critics) forgot about the other fighters so it was a shoe in to win.

Down the end of the line Anarchy Reigns isn't all that popular due to its lack of advertising because of SEGA but I know people who imported it said it was pretty game and something amazing. Some have said GOTY material.

Plus Anarchy Reigns is NOT a fighting game....it can play like one and have 1 on 1 Cage Match modes but it is a new experience that brings back the forgotten beat em up genre games of Power Stones, Streets of Rage, and etc and hurl them into the next generation with tons of innovative gameplay mechanics.

In Persona 4 Arena can I hop in a helicopter and gun down people THEN piledrive said helicopter, in Persona 4 Arena are there gigantic boss battles, in Persona 4 Arena is there a mode to play football where I can kill the players of the opposing, in Persona 4 Arena can I respawn after getting killed in a Battle Royal match, does Persona 4 Arena have a 16 player Battle Royal match, in Persona 4 Arena are the stages literally the size of a city, in Persona 4 Arena do planes bomb the battlefield, Bosses and enemies come in to wreak havoc, Tsunami's occur, black holes pop up out of nowhere, sandstorms, the battlefield changes, ORRRR.....do they have the ability to weaken a monster and hop on it to tear apart the other players and even giant robots. Can I pick cars, bikes, tires, traffic signs, and a bunch of other stuff and throw them at people?

No....oh I thought so.

Persona 4 Arena and Anarchy Reigns aren't even in the same category.

God Hand is nowhere near polished enough to be considered game of the year material, or any "of the year" material as it is.

Vanquish, on the other hand, is home to both critical and commercial acclaim. I don't see how 830K+ copies sold as of last March, an average rating of 84% on MetaCritic,and a GameSpot nomination for GOTY and winner for the "Best Game That No One Played" award would be somehow considered as a failure, whether in sales or not.

Um yea The Walking Dead was real popular this year. Definitely made millions, just like how Black Ops' II sold half a billion dollars' worth in video games in just its' launch day, and is now not only the "biggest entertainment launch of the year", but also among the biggest entertainment launches in history period ... and DID NOT win game of the year.

Long story short? Don't go making false assumptions.

Heh we could get into a debate I have a school debate tomorrow so no but I can say this.

Outside its somewhat repetitive campaign, hard to follow story, and no split-screen/offline multiplayer due to technical reasons.

I bought the game and its an insanely fun game that is worth the $30 (at the least) compared to most games that charges $60 for a game that isn't worth $60 (Asura's Wrath and Lollipop Chainsaw are good examples).

The main reason I overhype it is for it gain more attention and its mainly due to its price tag if it was $60 this thread wouldn't even be here and we wouldn't be having this conversation. Heck its why I praise Pokemon because it has so much content and package for a $30-$40 game.

I hope it sells so SEGA (when they decide to get their head out of their ass and realize the sh*t they're smelling isn't flowers but sh*t) will possibly make a better sequel or pull a Bayonetta 2 and hand it over to another company who find it interesting (I'll rather not have Nintendo please maybe Kona....wait....never mind....) or companies will see cheaper games can sell better for I would've bought Asura's Wrath and Lollipop Chainsaw if they were cheaper. SEGA gave Anarchy Reigns a low production budget to begin with and so they sold it at a low price.....that is how you price a video game. Granted $30 is kind of insulting to all the hard work Platinum Games put into the game despite the low budget cause they're only video game developers I know that can work with anything and still make a great game.

Now if it was $60 even I'll be a bit iffy on buying it but then again I'm iffy on buying any game at $60 and the only time I was disappointed by a game at the price of $60 would be Final Fantasy XIII-2.....not because it lacked content but because Square insisted on taking out or not including 50% of the game and later sell it to us at unreasonably unfair prices.....literally $20 for one boss fight with a boss I fought 5 times already in the main campaign. All those Colosseum battles, pre-planned of course.

In other words, it's like AC III. A lot of ambition, a lot of innovation, but just bundled in with a lot of static noise and garble.

There's plenty of terrible games that sell for sixty bucks. Do I even need to remind you of RE: Raccoon City or Neverdead? And we shouldn't even talk about some of Kinect's thirty-party games. Some of those were just atrocious.

Minecraft's 'round thirty bucks. I'm sure there's plenty of gamers that have had more fun playing that then they have had with games that were priced twice the price. So price isn't really an indicator of quality. Your "steal" argument however would be better supported if, you know, convinced me why it would be worth buying a game like Anarchy Reigns in the first place.

Asura's Wrath definitely had some potential, but I dunno about Lollipop Chainsaw. Maybe I should just buy all five episodes of the Walking Dead.

And already in the disc. Certain companies (Capcom) nowadays tend to force you to buy DLC that's already in the disc. All you'll get from that fifteen bucks is a prepaid code and some patch data.

Of course, it's not like all game corporations do that. Believe it or not, but guys like Valve and 2K Games appreciate their customers.
