Then there's no legitimacy to any contest held here if it's at the whims of the Quasi's and they can arbitrarily decide to exclude votes..force nominees and the like

Well if you're nominated you don't really have a choice, you're kind of forced into it, whether you want to be in it or not. So you can't really decided not to participate unless you don't ever come on the forum or people don't notice you, so don't nominate anything to do with you.

Well, I already have my opinions on things about here, been practically the same for the whole time, I've been on here. I caused trouble, yes, yet you don't get anywhere without speaking your mind, I kind became a little known, for finding out things about here, in some form, since I first jumped above the radar around here, with the blunt evaluations thread, since, I was terribly blunt and that about people, there was a lot of them I spoke about in that, long but deleted the posts there now, though at the time, my rep skyrocketed just in that one thread..

So anyway my point is, just have to deal with it really and take all those things as they come..no matter how corrupt they may be.

Since they practically, treat the user base around here as if they're in a high school playground or something, not catering at all really for older members I guess, you have the popularity side and the bullying side, on top of that you have in this case staff, at school teachers, deciding mostly with everything to do with outcomes around here.

Oh I'm fully aware of that, I've made a lot of noise and spoken my mind so much I've been demoted twice..I fully accept that certain doors are closed here, my issue isn't that and this isn't something I;ve taken personal (i mean honestly ask any vs debater what they deal with on a regular basis and you get why none of us take posting too seriously) I think if you are going to be honest with yourself and your peers that involves a degree of consistency even if that ultimately costs you some chances.

I just find it amusing..how much energy and effort was put into that yet it was all for nothing but the whim of those on high

I tend to stay quiet with most cases and just go with the flow, chat, what ever but if there's something I have to say, I say it, with most cases, I try to think before anything though, so it doesn't come over terribly bad, heh.

I just ignore those types of things but if someone drags me into them, different story, it's like, you've gotten me involved now, so take the consequences type of thing, in a sense, lolz.

The normal F.A.I.L. couldn't do much to stop me, only the more further up in the chain had to, so did get a verbal warning in private from a Quasi, I quieten down, still, I have my rough moments, I think?

that may have been the more diplomatic thing to do

the last time I went through that I took on the entire FAIL forum..go ask Shika it was bloody..mind you it was over a scum bag so I don't regret the end result..but I think I was too new at this to make such a huge fight of it..and it pissed on the entire section because of it, which I do regret.

Not to mention my last college spring semester is about to start soon. Although I do have more time depending on the days.

No but in all seriousness essentially they handle all the behind the scenes technical stuff, make policy decisions reorganize the forums and the like. Create user groups name tags and all that.
