The Uchiha are overrated and most of them are jerks...
Plus, the Uzumaki have red hair!

Love the Uzumaki as they are kind and sweet and they don't go killing each other for their eyes and also they have the longest life expectandancy. Even the clan had been the first to get wiped out than the Uchiha Clan, they are much respected in Konoha than the Uchiha Clan. You don't find the Uchiha Clan Symbol on the back of the Konoha Flak Jacket, would you?

Uchihas can be peaceful too, Itachi's massacre just left a bad impression....along with the fact that the current main villains are from the Uchiha clan. However, it's kind of half and half, since the Uzumakis are always the jinchuriki for the nine tails, but at the same time the Uchiha clan isn't very peaceful anymore, with their Mangekyo Sharingan's abilities being sought after.
