Your really focusing on the negatives. They aren't exactly negative stuff to begin with but more so mysteries about the game that just haven't been announced.

Up until now we still have 7+ more characters, and more stages and story mode content that have yet to be announced/revealed. This is of course not counting what they can and might add via DLC in the future after the games release.

The only true negative thing I see about the game is possibly the ring out feature but even then we don't know everything regarding said feature. Things like if its possible to disable it or not or exactly how to causeb to happen besides what was shown.

Hey guys . I'm a new member here, but I've been lurking in the shadows and reading your discussion for quite sometime now lol xD . Anyway , as soon as I heard there were 80+ character in storm 3, I made a character roster and I'm gonna post it here because like all of you I can't contain my excitement any longer . Any feedback or comment either positive or negative is always appreciated. And If i missed some chars or there's something wrong with it please tell me .

So here it is

From Scans and trailers, we currently have 32 confirmed characters (I'm counting those who were literally at the scan and those confirmed for free battle. I didn't count currently confirmed characters in hack n slash that are still not confirmed for free battle. Also , I didn't count characters that were from storm 2 and generations that are still not revealed in scans [but my little mind is prone to forget things. So still correct me if there's a characters that's not on the list, but already confirmed in scans].)

Also If you noticed, I didn't put Hidan, 1st hokage, 2nd hokage , kirin sasuke , or the past version of naruto (WS:Rasenshuriken, etc.) , Jiraiya, Normal Kabuto and Pain in there. It's because storm 3 is all about the WAR. So I think characters not in the war must not be there. I know it's sad , but how would cc2 squeeze characters like jiraiya and hidan into the story? I just don't see it happening...

i dont have the energy to read such a long post but as long as edo itachi nagato madara and rinnegan tobi are in then i dont care anymore, and i wantto be able to shut off ring outs or they could remove it. they can see themselves. in theyre ofgicial channel on youtube the ring out video has so much dislikes so they are they keeping it in

Also, I doubt Ao, Fu Yamanaka, And Toroi would be playable.

I don't see why people have this mentality. Just because its the war arc doesn't mean past characters won't be in... Especially someone like JIRAIYA.

@Sagepain : wow thanks for notifying me lol , so that makes only 32 characters confirmed so far . I've put in white zetsu as additional after anko because i think he might have a LITTLE chance of being playable. after all, he had like the most battles any person could do in one day xD .

As for Ao and Fu yamanaka, yea i highly doubt that they would be playable too, that's why i put them near the bottom. But it would be nice though if they would make them playable and Fu could use that scarecrow-like puppet of his in his moveset xD .

I highly doubt Toroi too, since he hasn't even appeared yet in the anime, but i put him there because just like Fu i thought if he was playable, his moveset would be unique

Don't quote me but if I remember correctly CC2 mentioned somewhere that characters not involved in the war (past characters) would be involved some how in another game mode or something.

Maybe we start off with them unlocked or they are unlocked after reaching a certain point in the game after some sort of flashback.

Complete the Konan vs Tobi fight, flasback ensues, you unlock Jiraiya, Konan, and Pain?

Or maybe characters are unlocked via a point system like in Storm 2 as well as the story mode. Honestly its not out of the norm for them to do that as seen with Lars from Storm 2.

Yeah that's most likely what they'd do. Or perhaps you unlock them after going through survival, if that's included this time round.

So much can still go wrong is what I'm pointing out. I will not be fooled again by saying how awesome generation was gona be just to be disapoonted. Also I like the old characters as much as the next person but they wouldn't have any real improvements and wouldn't fit the story but if they are gona be just thrown in then for sure I want kurenai and shizune.

Well just because they aren't in the story mode doesn't mean they can't be playable.

It's a fighting game... They can't just drop characters like that because of the story mode.
How stupid would it be if JIRAIYA wasn't playable? He's JIRAIYA. I don't see why they would just drop characters like that. Don't think other games do that either..

....but where is the hope ? its not like we are being shut out there is still a chance for these things and if not there will be other games since the manga and anime are not done yet.

The stages are improved with destruction and ring outs to make the fights more interesting and anime real so... not all the stages have that just some for variety...so I hope that can cheer some of you up.
