Question about Legal(or Illegal) Images and Linking:

If I want to put up an image / link to the official product made by Viz Media, I click on the product shown on VizAnime Ads scrollbar and it leads me to the product's page on Amazon.

Does that count as legal or illegal?

Is this just me or has this been happening to anyone else?

Whenever I've come to this site in the past day or so, it takes forever for my computer to load this site. Whenever I visit any other site, I don't have this problem. Also, the same thing happens on my phone whether I'm using WiFi or 3G. What do I do?

Everyone is affected, it's probably a side effect of having the ad server disabled due to the recent events with said server. However, strangely I'm not affected on my PC, only on my iPad o.O

Question about what is considered appropriate...

I would gladly share the videos of a quite famous Youtube user with my friends here; PewDiePie. He usually plays games and makes very amusing commentaries... the problem in question is his language. Is it inappropriate to post links on this forum that go to Youtube videos containing words such as "the F word", or is it okay if I just add a warning text saying "VULGAR LANGUAGE"?

Note that he also plays horror games that may have an age limit. Does these age limits apply to the forum as well, or can I freely show content from frightening and vulgar horror movies/games here?

You could get away with posting a video with foul language, as long as the language is not excessive. However, if the video even contains one instance of the F word, the Cu word, or some kind of racial slur, it's best to avoid it.

The age limit applies, depending on the scene. For instance, if I were to post a God of War video where Kratos cuts into one of those centaur's bodies and has blood gush out with the visible entrails, that would be inappropriate. Or if I posted one of their sex scenes, that would be inappropriate. You could get away with posting something dark, but it's better to make sure it's not too dark and it'd probably be better to avoid very frightening videos.

I understand that brutal videos should be avoided, but what about videos that are just very frightening without any blood? Such as gameplays of Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Penumbra: Black Plague, Slender and other stealth horror games with darkness and jumpscares but no real violence?

Chances are you would get away with it. There may be some mods who don't appreciate it though. It would probably depend on whether or not people complain about it. If you put up a warning, I'd say it'd be fine.

Anyways, just a question that I am sure many others want to know (and already have asked): is it against the forum rules to have more than one account? Because some of my friends claim that they have other accounts that they use almost as much as the ones I recognize.

As long as you don't use the account to evade bans and don't use it to break forum rules, it's fine to have alternate accounts. It's just something that I discourage people from doing though since there's no real reason as to why you would want another account (excepting if your account is hacked)

Well, for example, you might want to know what people really think about you when asked by another person. I am not saying that I have any plans to create a secondary account, but I appreciate the information. And if I would ever want to create another account for said example or another scenario, it would be good for me to know that my new account would not be banned.

A Quasi or Admin could do all that, but we generally make it a policy to not do what you've just described.

Any particular reason why you'd ask?
