WHY IS THIS GAME SERIES SO IMPOSSIBLY HARD???

Has anyone played the games?

I've only played Sigma 1 and 2, but I beat them both multiple times(with effort). Yeah, they are pretty challenging, but when you figure out the boss attack patterns, it gets a lot easier.

I haven't played NG 3 at all, so no. I heard 3 was bad, so I didn't waste my money on it. If they had included the Vigoorian Flail in the weapons DLC, I might have considered it, but without, no dice.

^You should get the Wii U version, Razor's Edge. It's a lot better since it fixed the problems everyone complained about. It was also voted one of the best launch games for the system.

Yea, I beat all of them. They arn't that hard. Infact the 3rd is way easier then the first 2 imo and alot others. But it has it's moments that can be hard.

Trust me the Razor's Edge version is much harder and it's basically what the original SHOULD have been.

Also, I heard if you liked Ninja Gaiden, you should also try the SNES game Hagane(?). I played it, and it's pretty fun. Hard though. Didn't make it past the first level

yet another classic that will never be as good as the org pal they need to reboot this whole series and make it more like mgs becaus the running around gore fest gets tired plus it needs better rpg elements pal and team based multiplayer pal

Ninja Gaiden is the most popular Ninja game ever. So everyone says. But Personaly I dout Razors Edge is harder then 1 or 2. 3 yea because you don't even need to try. If anything it is a little hard because you can not change weapons nore heal your selfwhen ever.

Not really because its hard even on normal and Master/Ultimate ninja is just impossible...if you've played it you would agree with me.

I had the trilogy on snes when I was a kid, they were hard to complete.

I completed ninja gaiden 1 on the Xbox which I complete on all difficulties which was a challenge and is still one of my favourite games of all time, in my opinion it's the best hack and slash game ever.

Ninja Gaiden 2 on Xbox was a really good game they made some good adjustments such as being able to change your weapon without pausing the game but Team Ninja made some changes I didn't like. I didn't like the fact that after every save point you regained your health which for me ruined the difficulty and made this game a hell of a lot easier, if you completed ninja gaiden 1 you won't have no trouble completing ninja gaiden 2.

I didn't buy ninja gaiden 3 since its not a true ninja gaiden game.

Razor's Edge is a true Ninja Gaiden game though. You should try that out.

The thing is though, if I wanted to get Razor's Edge, I'd have to get a Wii U first. And I'm not at all interested in a Wii U(at least not right now).
